I really don't know what to say about this place other than weird. You can tell as soon as you walk in that it's kind of a counter culture spot. The patrons will range from alternative punks to well dressed young professionals. The spot does not seem to fit in present day Lawrenceville. I would stop in for a beer but maybe a bottle not a draft.

The bisque could have been warmer, but boy did it taste amazing! I laughed at the provided placemat being for children and demanded crayons so I could color (joking). I was happy to see they had several bottled ciders and one on draft. I was curious about a new section in the menu, but dispite being 'new' they didn't have any 'adventure style deviled eggs'. Hopefully, they'll be here next time I stop in. The ba r was quiet, the bartender was polite, and the neighboring violinists in the band room gave the place a nice feel.

When I was buying a house in Lawrenceville, there was a place on Butler that I didn't imagine myself going too often, just based on outside appearances. Well, I was wrong about that. The prices are good, the bartenders are good, and the food is also pretty good. I love the comedy shows on the weekends, they have some funny people coming through.

Although you'd never expect it from the first sight of this business, the food here is absolutely amazing. It's interior is a bit dated and in need of a makeover, top to bottom, but just like your Grandma told you "don't judge a book by its cover"! Not only are each of the dishes here amazing, but the different events that occur each evening are absolutely devine. On one of the nights that I was here was a musical event where a group of sweet senior Grammie ladies, all were singing songs and having a great time on the stage. The mac n cheese is so killer, I've tried to duplicate it a number of times, but nothing is as good as the original!

Good bar with space for performances. Open mics, bands, comedy nights, variety shows, game and trivia, even musical sing alongs. This place has something for everyone. Located right in Lawrenceville, it's easy to find and close to a lot of other great places, making it a good spot to start or end a night on the town.

Great food, good beer selection, and awesome bartenders. Sometimes it's packed on a Monday, sometimes it's empty on a Friday; the crowd size can be very unpredictable. This is possibility related whatever event is happening on the restaurant side. Still, it's definitely one of my preferred places to get away from the bars that get way too busy late at night.
