Demore's Pizzeria

Under new management and I love it. The pizza is amazing. You can now order from their Slo Coast taco shop menu as well. This place is for sure taking it to the next level. I appreciate the exciting and very welcoming atmosphere. The new decor is so much fun. They definitely created a vibe. My favorite thing to order is the califa! It's a really large burrito. Your choice of protein filled with so much flavor. They top it off with French fries and queso. Definitely a cute little gem in millvale.

The food here is definitely high quality and I'd say it's worth the slightly inflated price. Its one of not that many good pizza shops in this area. I didn't try much, but the item I had was very good. I ordered the plain cheese calzone, or the "Plain Jane" in calzone form. Just the presentation alone was beautiful. I like how they topped it with a little extra (Parmesan?) cheese and even a little garlic with butter. The edges were crispy and the texture was overall awesome. The portion size for the price was good, although the price was a little on the high side. Also, I only saw the calzone option available on third party apps like Doordash and Uber Eats, but not on their website menu. Either way, they packed the calzone with a ton of delicious cheese. A great mix of ricotta and mozzarella. And, not too bready at all. Had some of the tomato sauce on the inside as well, but that didn't make it soggy. They also served it with extra sauce, with was cold but tasty. All in all, this is definitely a great spot, and it's great to have this place in Millvale. They have a famous eggplant pizza if you're looking to try their signature item. But, the calzone was awesome too. I'd recommend it as well.

Our first visit since new ownership. Honey hot wings were a big hit! Dry rub on the outside made a delicious well flavored crust, and the inside was very meaty and moist. We also tried the eggplant pizza and monthly specialty pizza, fig/prosciutto/arugula. Loved the roasted tomatoes and dots of ricotta on the eggplant parm. The truffle balsamic glaze was a lovely addition to the rich fig and prosciutto rather than typical balsamic glaze. We look forward to going back and trying the zeppole and cookie pizza.

Passed by many times before but stopped in to eat before work for the first time, the food was great and had a nice local feel to it. The interior decor gives the place a comfortable vibe that makes eating in a treat in its own. Some menu items are pricey but you get a good amount of food for it and its plenty worth the cost, I’d definitely like to stop in again when I get the chance.
