Pittsburgh Grill And Sports Bar

When we arrived (11-22-19) we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was very patient, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I really wish I could remember her name. Some of the menu prices are a little pricey. I expected it though being in the city. We all ordered our food and it came out hot and fresh. We were only disappointed by 2 of the items we ordered. The Hall of fame burger looked like a frozen patty that was over cooked. So it was very dry and lacked the flavor expected from the description. The burger sliders were very tasty and were juicy as expected. I ordered ranch on the side and it had a watery appearance but tasted good. The presentation of the Asian firecracker shrimp was just beautiful. They said they tasted delicious. Our friends told us you could see through the mirror in the bathroom out to the bar. Sure enough I went and checked and you could. That was pretty neat. I'm easily amused. All in all I would go back and try something else.

An anniversary treat from my husband, we walked in to an atmosphere of cheerfulness , optimism, and warmth. Our server, Melanie, was quick to welcome us and make us feel comfortable and at home. Dealing with a large party before us, she kept us informed on kitchen times and kept checking on us. The diversified menu items had us wanting to try more than our appetites could endure. It was a difficult decision but the pierogies won, hands down and we couldn’t have been happier with the fish and chips and blackened chicken Alfredo. Melanie’s affable manner and thorough service complimented the delicious menu items. She certainly wins our award for Super Bowl Server status!!

Stopped and had lunch here after picking up our packets for a local 5k. My wife and I sat outside on a pretty slow lunch time and were pleasantly surprised with the variety of beer that they had on tap. We enjoyed several drinks while hanging out in a very nice outdoor seating area. For food, we ordered some nachos with chicken (with the chili topping on the side) and a buffalo chicken flatbread. The nacho's were huge and amazing, although we were happy we ordered the chili on the side as it tasted a bit sub par, I guess we lucked out there. The flatbread was really good as well, so much so that we ate it before I had a chance to take a picture. Overall, a pretty good experience, although I wonder if it would be as good before a major concert when they get slammed!

We went here with our exchange students from Germany and Spain. We were there on a Saturday afternoon before a home Steelers game. It wasn't real crowded so we got in and seated real quickly. The waitress was extremely nice and friendly. The atmosphere was real nice as well. We all four liked the food that we ordered. They wanted to go back after the Steelers game was over but that place was packed out the front door so we ended up elsewhere. That goes to show how good the place is.

Monday was my second visit. My first was on my birthday 11/8. I had the same waiter on my first visit. I was shocked he remembered me. I ordered the pan Fried Chicken on both visits. Our waiter's recommendations for our visit and special sauces was a joyous pleasure to our taste buds!!! The prices are very reasonable, the staff was welcoming with a homey comfortable feel. My child is grown however this is family environment. After paying the bill I continued to speak with our waiter, we spoke in regards to Jerome's memorabilia's through out his career on and off the field. I even shared with him the company I previously worked, the owner bought his rookie tour bus. This is now my go to place the day after a game before we drive back to Columbus.
