Scoops In Bloomfield

I’ve been coming to scoops for years. Ice cream is so addicting I would buy a quart 2xs a week when I was living a block away lol. I think scoops is THE BEST in Pittsburgh. Mint chocolate chip and white house cherry are my fave. White House cherry pairs well with the waffle cone. My nephews always order the super man one or the blue moon.

A true delight! Various types of cones, cups, milkshakes, cakes, if can describe what you want, I believe they can make it. Best pistachio ice cream around- why? It is sweet but only enough to bring out the flavor of the nut. Most pistachio if you can find that classic flavor, is too sweet, it over powers the delicate flavor of the delicate nut. Scoops also has whole or good size pieces of nut in their pistachio. Yum- Prices are reasonable. Special note- don't want a full size cone? They will give a child size to adults, some places get testy about doing that. A child size sugar cone with pistachio scoop- ahh- a true delight and the price makes my pocket happy. Remember when you got a lollipop after a trip to Doctor? OK, might have been regional or you might be too young to have had that experience, this is a very good sub for that old school treat. Got another sub for that old treat- will mention in comments about that other place. Ps these folks are on bus routes and directly across from Hospital.

We stopped in on date night to get a sweet treat! We let the 2 'Scoop'ers working create a sundae to their liking, AND both were delicious!! I wish I had gotten their names or a picture of them holding their creations, so hopefully, they get the recognition they deserve!! This is one of our favorite ice cream spots to visit all year long! ❤️

Just happened to be walking in the neighborhood and walked past this ..their open pretty late too btw but I tried a whole bunch of samples definitely try the pittsburgh pothole and canola both were so good !!! I ended up getting the southern apple pie ice cream as a milkshake. I love that it little apple crust pieces in between each bite. Absolutely my FAV. Thank you Tyler for explaining each ice cream and sample great place and excellent customer service definitely will be back 😀
