Josie's Sweets & Treats

This business bailed me out in a cupcake-related emergency. I was given the run-around by another business and ended up having to move on. I found a review for Josie's Sweet & Treats online and emailed them. They were extremely responsive and were able to meet my order deadline. I picked up the cupcakes and everyone that tried them absolutely LOVED them. I can't wait to place my next order over the holidays!!

I’ve driven by this bakery several times, and finally decided to stop in today. I asked the gentleman behind the counter “if someone was going to get one thing, what should they try?” — He recommended the apple pie filled muffin so I got that and a brownie that looked solid. While checking out, I found out it’s a family run business, two parents carving out a dream with their four children. I decided that if the items were at least average, I would try to frequent the business because those are the type of small businesses that I believe deserve to be supported. Way too long story short, the brownie was one of the best I’ve had in Pittsburgh and the apple pie filled muffin was incredible. This place is a hidden gem and might be the best of the four bakeries within 15 min walking distance.

This is an Italian Owned Bakery, that has the determination, and creative ability to create your ideas, and make them heavenly realities. I give 5 stars because, homemade baked happiness is the only way, and this bakery knows that. With an ever-changing menu of options you’ll always find something that appeases your taste-buds. I certainly do.
