We were bit confused to go for buffet ( most of the times almost all type of buffets won’t be good). For the amount you are paying $14.99 ( weekend ), you will have plenty of choices, live dosa ( with fermented rice n lentil)n appam ( type of pancake made with fermented rice and coconut milk)counter, different varieties of curries. One of the best place for buffet( Indian Vegetarian). Overall we enjoyed the food n service, 👍👍👍👍

Went to this restaurant couple of times. Ordered thali, appam, tiffins, appam is delicious with coconut milk, thali is good too. Price is ok for the quantity served. Overall all the dishes tastes good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to try once

A good place if you love south Indian food. Decent buffet with dosa’s and Naans included. Good variety of south Indian and some Indochinese options in buffet. Overall definitely a must try restaurant. Most crowded during weekends and great service.

Good food, ambience can be better. Placement of food (live counter and buffet and salad) can be better. Understandably it is crowded because of food quality.

This is still a best place to dine-inn for Vegetarian buffet but after Covid i feel hotel management have reduced 4 to 5 main food items like Fried Rice, Gobi Manchurian, Noodles and Appam Dosa etc. Not sure about the reason.
Out of 4 Sweets, Only 2 Sweet was good so don't keep more expectations on Sweets.
Dosa, Idli, Vada Chutney is excellent.
Salads is quite good.
Tea, 2 Sweet out of 4, Naan and Veg Biryani is average.
Price is bit expensive i feel for very less items.
But once we can visit occasionally.

Ok food. $15.99 for buffet, which mostly consist of South Indian dishes only. Ambience is just ok. Dull lightning which makes you feel too dull. Samosa chat total chaos. Better to serve regular samosa instead of making it like that. You don’t even get the complete taste of Samosa. Naan were just ok. Wada were too oily. Soup was not good. So called hot and sour was not even near to authentic hot and sour soup. Better than that is ready to eat Ching’s or Knorr soups.
They should work to improvise on their menu to make it more better.

It had been several years since I visited Malgudi Garden, so I was pleasantly surprised by how much the place has improved.
I would give five stars for the food, no questions asked. Authentic South-Indian taste; so many options from the buffet menu, so many that one can't possibly try them all; hot dosas off the plate (although the waits can be annoying), an impressive chat corner, and good selection of desserts.
We went on a Saturday - and the place was packed. The wait staff was overwhelmed with 20-30 people waiting outside eager to get in to a crowded restaurant where people were waiting in line just to provide their names. It took us over 15 minutes just to pay the bill. A fire marshal would probably have ordered the place shut down. Seating was inadequate for those who were waiting outside. The patio area could be optimized for seating more guests.
I understand that these problems are driven by the excellent food as customers are flocking to the place. But the average family does not want to wait 30 minutes just to get a table. We saw a few families leave, frustrated. Manage this aspect well, and I would give it 5 stars.

Consistently superior preparations (a la carte only) and presentations leading to a satisfying palate. Even the regional coffee was excellent (except of course for the pouring technique). Ambiance is a downer but then there is zero irrationality in the prices). Very popular for delivery service naturally.
Definitely a place for someone who likes essential South Indian food. (Skip the Puri).
Buffet was average presumably in trying to please a broad spectrum of vegetarian palates but Samosa Chaat was inexplicable. Better than average choices in the dessert section but the sweetness tasted tempered.
Loved the balanced attention showered on all patrons.
