Master Shifu

This is without a doubt one of the best Japanese restaurants we’ve ever been to. Very very fresh and consistently beautiful food. We are locals and come here every week. The owner is an absolute gem, the service is impeccable, the sashimi is the most FRESH and tender I’ve ever had. We’ve dined at top end restaurants but somehow the food here is on the same level, at decent pricing.

We ordered Beef curry, Pork curry, Chicken soup (udon), and grilled beef for entree as well as the seafood pancake. If I could, I’d give 4.5 Star. 5 Stars for Staff: super kind and Wilson was the best attendant ever. Our order was organized in the best possible way. 4.5 Stars for Food quality: you really should give this restaurant a try. The quality is amazing. Everything was fresh and genuine. 5 Stars for Cooking skills: I cannot just manipulate the words to live up to the amazing skills of their chef. I have tried the same dishes in many other restaurant and this was among top two. If you are meticulously attentive to details, you will see how delicately the ingredients are chosen for each dish. 4 Stars for quantity: Too much rice and a bit not generous amounts of curry. Still I will go back regularly. Master Shifu! You are amazing 💎

Third time coming here, already looking forward to the fourth. Delicious and authentic Japanese food that is mouth watering! That's enough of a reason to go, isn't it? Good selection of desserts which can be a bit hard to find at Japanese restaurants. Also, the staff are friendly. Could this be the best Japanese this side of Melbourne? Quite possibly. Please give it a go if you like Japanese food!
