Had a lovely breakfast here on Saturday. I had the 'Fisherman's' Mr, had the 'Captain's' both very tasty. Popular place for both locals and tourist's, so booking is advised, which we learnt, however the friendly Mike did fit us in after a short walk about. Great service and nice hot food presented with care by Clare.

It might be fairly standard fayre, mostly variations on a Full English breakfast, Kippers and Omelettes - but the attitude and friendliness of the couple running the place made this a 5 star cafe for us.
It's worth noting that unlike most cafes in Poole that open at 9am, this one opens at 7am.
After visiting this place, you're unlikely to leave with room for more.

Excellent food, good value and good portion sizes without being ridiculous. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Book ahead if you're going mid morning at the weekend, there were a few reserved tables when we got there.

Me and my husband came across this little treasure today and we was not disappointed!
The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The food came out fast and was one of the best breakfast we’ve ever had. Delicious lattè’s also.

What a great find. Delicious choices of breakfast to suit most dietary requirements. Charming and informative customer service with a big genuine smile and go the extra mile help for tourists.
We six ladies certainly got our orders and our monies worth and were truly set up nutritionally for the day. So good, we went back twice!

Visited for brunch 15/04/23.
It was busy but managed to get a table, which was wiped down for us as we arrived.
We were made to feel very welcome and the chap who took our order was friendly and helpful.
We ordered couple of breakfasts, both made fresh and really tasty, the Deckhand breakfast really is something different!
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would come again.
If I could give 6 stars, I would! :)
