Salty's On The Columbia River

The food was delicious tho there was not a lot to pick from. The service was great! The waitress even scrapped the crumbs off our table from our bread before even putting our main course on our table! Never experienced that before. We got a complementary cake for our wedding anniversary. It was a white chocolate mousse cake with raspberry coulis and I believe it's the best cake I've ever eaten! Great experience! Beautiful view!

Beautifil Columbia River view. It was a Saturday breakfast. Team members were super nice. We ordered Coffee, Pineapple Mimosa, Calamari, bowl of Seafood Chowder, Crab Cake Benedict with fresh fruit, Paella and a basket of pastry. Fantastic food and came with a surprise slice of super tasty White Chocolate Mousse cake.

Salty’s was amazing. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcomed upon arrival. Particularly our server Whitney! We made a reservation for Monday which turned out to be a day for wine specials, so we ordered a Sokol Blosser bottle. We also ordered 9 fresh Oysters and Crab cakes for appetizers. We followed that with a Grilled Halibut, a 12oz. New York, and a 7oz filet. All of which were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! We finished off the night with a Hazelnut Chocolate Expresso Cake and a Crème Brulee all of which were sweet and yummy! Totally recommend this for anyone looking for delicious food and good ambiance.

I recently visited Salty's on the Columbia River and was blown away by the stunning views of the river and the delicious food. The restaurant is family-owned and operated, which gives it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home. I had the *Smoked Columbia Steelhead*, the fish was smoked to perfection and had a great balance of flavors. I also enjoyed a traditional Old Fashioned. Guillermo was the waiter / bartender, he was very attentive and took care of me as expected. Awesome experience all around The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with large windows that offer breathtaking views of the river. It's an ideal place to celebrate special occasions or simply enjoy a lovely day on the water. I highly recommend Salty's on the Columbia River for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and an unforgettable experience.

Salty's, oh how we've missed you. You were our favorite restaurant when we lived in Portland, and we enjoyed so many special occasions there. You were the last restaurant we went to before leaving Portland. It's been 13 years since we've sat on your patio. It feels like old times!! The Columbia River was the perfect ambiance to set the mood for an afternoon of relaxation 😎 and great food. We started our meal the same as we always did ..... with a bowl of clam chowder. It didn't disappoint. Our dishes were all very enjoyable. The fish, unfortunately, was a little too greasy for my husband, but it is deep fried, so this is to be expected. My tacos were amazing, and my sons hamburger was top-notch. Thank you for the amazing cake 🎂 It was so delicious, and I enjoyed every bite. Our waitress was the best. She took good care of us, and you could tell she loves her job. She is definitely an asset to your business. Thank you for a great afternoon. As always, we enjoyed our time at Salty's... will be back!!

I have passed by Salty's for many years and finally made it in. They did not disappoint. I hat the garlic prawns with scallops. The garlic prawns were th size of small lobster tails and the scallops were delicate, cooked to perfection. The espresso martini is wonderful, and the views are amazing.

Went for our anniversary, and was not disappointed. Our server was excellent, food came out promptly and tasted amazing. I don’t understand the negative reviews on portion size for price. The portion sizes were actually perfect with little to no waste of food. High quality ingredients & beautiful plating. We will absolutely be back.

Nice location right on the Columbia River. Two levels as well as outside seating. Friendly staff and service was attentive without being invasive 👍. Food was well prepared and good. Extensive wine and drink list if that's your thing. Seemed like the place to go for small (adult) birthday dinners or other celebrations based on overhead conversations while waiting for a table. A little pricey but menu has lower cost options. Overall would recommend!

Salty’s has been an iconic place for a very long time and I always recommend it. Although the neighborhood has changed quite a bit they’ve kept their high standards in the dishes and cocktails they offer. The staff are always friendly and helpful. If you make a reservation for a birthday they decorate the table with a little confetti and a lovely card. I will mention though that the last few times I’ve been (during the weekend) the service might be a little slow. Before the pandemic they used to have 1lb king crab legs and now only have Dungeness crab legs which is a big bummer. Salty’s please bring them back!! Accessibility: My grandfather was able to access the main floor with his wheelchair with no problem. Last night in Oregon and we splurged and went to Salty’s. Get a reservation if you want to sit at the window and see the beautiful Columbia River. They have an extensive wine list with all the great wines from the Willamette Valley. We had already had been to several of these vineyards. We had a great window seat and Michael and Noah took incredible care of us. Food was awesome. I had the Steelhead and my wife had the special of the night Sockeye Salmon. Everything down to the extremely energetic valet did an exceptional job.
