Flying Cat Coffee

I’ve been ordering online & coming into Flying Cat for several years now. The coffee and food is consistently excellent. I don’t think I’ve ever had a time when my order wasn’t 100% perfect, which is honestly astounding given how many times I’ve come here. Best vegan options at a coffee shop in Portland, best matcha and chai that I’ve had in the area. Seasonal and special lattes are always delicious (highly recommend the black licorice latte). The physical location is a very relaxed and cozy space, I wish I came in more often! Great spot to catch up with someone or do some work. As a huge cat lover an extra bonus is the cat themed decor. I cannot recommend Flying Cat highly enough, as a Portland native and coffee lover - this is my favorite coffee in Portland. Thanks so much for the great service!

This is my favorite cozy place to hang out and read a good book. There is plenty of parking in the neighborhoods and plenty to do in the area. The food is good and offers a variety of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. I have enjoyed every caffeinated beverage I have had there. The owner is great - I believe he works there by himself so the service is slower than some of the more hopping coffee shops, but if you're willing to wait, you will get good service.

Cozy coffee shop with comfortable seating inside. Patio is like a small garden in front of shop with noisy street traffic(Division). They do need to fix/replace all their wobbly(broken?)metal patio tables so you can put a cup of coffee on them w/out spilling. Was not impressed by the barely communicative bartista. The bagels we had w/ avocado, cream cheese, tomato, spinach were delicious.
