Update: Wow you can now get your Sfogliatelle FROZEN to bake at home. They came out totally AMAZING!!! Just follow the directions and, as the pictures show, they look like THEY made it for you. There's a reason this store has been around for almost 100 years. Because they deliver the best of Italy from the moment you walk into the store and then again when you get home and devour your goodies:) these will be our new weekly family treat!!!!! End update Simply the best Italian Grocery Store in Maine. Great staff, excellent selections and the Best Canoli's in New England (I know because I've tried them everywhere in my travels). They make pizza from scratch at 10:30 am. The other Italian Pastry (that I can't spell:) the one that's shaped like a sea shell is simply AMAZING:) I just can't Express how much we love this place. Also, they have off street parking on the side of the building. If you haven't been there give it a try, if you're a regular you know already;)

I can't say enough how much I love this place. Authentic grocery items for Italian cooking, deli with top quality meats and cheeses, and slab pizza cooked that is out of this world. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and offers suggestions when asked. A huge bonus is the parking (albeit limited) for the old port area its such a relief to know you can get it and out quickly because you don't have to spend time and money finding parking. Love this place!
