Silly's

Everyone wanted to go to Silly's, but we didn't go and all of our order was made wrong, twice. On the third day: We went to Silly's and all of our food was prepared perfectly, served hot, tasted amazing, and looked even better! Great stuff. I'm sure I will be going here far more often due to the quality of this visit.

We've been going to Silly for many years, and were quite devastated when they closed. When they reopened we were beyond thrilled, and have been looking forward to going back for months. The cake is not at all what it once was, maybe a different baker, still okay just not great as it once was. Food was quite good but certainly not up to par with Portland nor previous Silly's, I'd imagine a different chef. That being said, the food is still good and they have good vegan options which for us is a plus to begin with. I would recommend going but don't expect the same experience that Silly's once was.

Sillys, as I told my friend is a legendary place in Portland Maine. All the locals know it. They have a great variety of well throughout dishes (with crazy names too), that will impress anyone -- including me and I have been rating hundreds of places for 6 years now. My experience at silly's can be described as interesting but from a good usage of that word point of view. They do a bottle of champagne to share with friends where you can choose 4 different juices to go with it and a liquor, which makes the whole brunching experience on sundays go to the next level ! DEFINETELY check this place out as you won't regret any second of your visit here.
