King Dumpling

Went here for a bit of dinner, the chicken and mushroom soup was nice (have a bit of a cold so it really hit the spot), and had the salt and pepper chicken and prawn & chicken dumplings. Overall the food was really tasty, came out quickly, and was reasonably priced. In the future I’d only get dumplings! Ours were a little charred but so good. The salt and pepper chicken was a bit bland, wouldn’t get that again.

This is our favourite place in Preston. The service is excellent the chef is incredible and whether we are taking away or eating in the food is alway fresh, tasty and authentic. No grease, or added chemical it is an exceptional place to eat. If you want to eat authentic Chinese food made with natural ingredients I recommend thisnplace in the highest regards. I have read comments about staff being rude. I haven't ever witnessed this but I have witnessed customers being rude and obnoxious that they didn't sell what they wanted on the menu. I could not recommend this place enough.

I love their opening hours, and the quality of food. The dumplings is hala and delicious. I usually order the onions fried lamb plate with fried rice. Taste like back home at Hong Kong and suit for those who want a hot and proper meal at lunch. Parking is available at the bus station or penny street car park or limited free car parking space at high street.

I don’t often leave reviews but have decided to review this as it is one of my favourite places in Preston. I have been to King Dumpling many times, and have enjoyed it so much that I like to bring anyone who visits me in Preston to it. The food is always fresh and piping hot. I’ve never been disappointed in the quality or taste of the food. My faves are the lamb ribs, chicken fried rice, mapo tofu, and the chicken mix prawn dumplings. Sometimes it takes a while for food to come but this never bothers me as it’s good quality and totally worth it. Staff have always been polite. Only downside is that sometimes the restaurant closes earlier than it says on google (sometimes an hour early), so if you would like to visit King Dumpling I would advise that you don’t visit too late!
