The place also offers unlimited thali options the the only certain curries can be replaced depending on the thali ordered. The food is good in taste and is tastes kuch better than the price at which it is offered. It also offers othe a la carte options which are okayish in taste when compared to the prices. Ambiance is not that great, it's a small space, service is decent and the place is usually crowded.

Hi Mangesh is here. Last to last week me and Four of mine friend visited/went to KaLsuBai, Samrad and Bhandardara. Shortly I'm sharing with you overall me and my friends experience. Sandhan valley is a geological miracle carved out by gushing rain waters over a period of million years. Its located in the Kalsubai- Harishchandragad wildlife Sanctuary and close to Bhandardara. From Thane it's about 165 kms drive and takes nearly 5.5 hours to reach the sandhan valley trek point. Airtel network goes off just 40 kms before the trekking point and is virtually not there till shahapur where we descend. We used the guide services ( datta guide- picture uploaded) who took us down the valley full of huge boulders. You need to carry nearly 5 litres of water if you plan to stay at the lower camp after descent. Else 4 litre water should be good for a day trek here. We visited on 5 th march and there was still waist deep water over a 50 metres stretch. High endurance needed to complete the descent and one needs to use both hands at many places while descending from huge slippery boulders. Wear good shoes with grip. Carry a good stick along for support at some places. Rapelling of approx 80-100 feet is needed at one point and a 30 feet direct rappelling descent lower down. We camped near the pond created by the flowing water downstream. Food was cooked by the guide and it's very safe to stay in the night. We took 5 hours to reach this camp after descending nearly a 1000 feet from the start. Next day we had to walk 1.50 hours to reach the nearest motorable road in Shahapur. Preferably go with a group.
