Ambience is good, valet parking, centrally located, the veg and non veg starters r average n better to skip them, cool place to unwind and hangout with friends for a drink..service is a bit slow..the light arrangement and music running in background does sets your party mood..upper open deck floor is a bit more relaxed..visit before 9pm to get happy hours offer (1 drink free on selective beer, whisky and vodka)..various international alcohol brands available..

Saturday night and party on mind. Checked out one of the famous chains of restaurants in India, The Lord of the Drinks at Pune. Good food & cocktails with a great ambience. We tried out the Mumbai Margarita : a spicy tangy drink, the classic Bloody Mary. For starters we ordered Panko Fish Bites, Arabic Chicken Skewers. We loved the fish bites, we recommend it for a yummy finger food. Though, we didn’t much enjoy the Arabic Skewers as we felt it was a little bit bland for our taste. Lastly for main course we had the safest option ever - Chicken Dum Biryani 😁 Ofcourse you cannot go wrong with biryani and this was delicious and didn’t let us down. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. We opted for the rooftop, the lounge seemed to be happening and had good loud music. But somehow this place has a lesser rating over Zomato, and maybe that’s why there was a fewer crowd on a Saturday night. But this is for sure an underrated place! So the next time you’re in Pune and want to have some good music, food & drinks this is where you should head to!

Lord of the Drinks was on my list of places to visit since it opened early last year and I finally visited this place last week for dinner with family. As the name suggests the place is known for its drinks (cocktails and mocktails) however, the food here is surprisingly good. There is a huge bar and the interiors are plush and the dim lights in the evenings add to the look. They also have open air rooftop which is ideal for breezy evenings. Some of the drinks we tried were: Mango Pina Colada - It is a part of their summer menu offering and the mango twist to this drink tasted good. Talli Aam Panna - Another one from their summer menu, it reminds you fo the childhood days when aam panna at home was devoured during summer vacations. A very nice drink and a must try this summer. Hot Toddy was a welcome change from usual drinks. Blend of Indian spices in this hot drink was perfect for a bad throat day that I had during this visit. Food as I mentioned earlier was the highlight and here are some I loved. Karari Roti - is available at a lot if places these days but this one was really wafer thin and that's what I loved. No overdose of masalas on top and lots of ghee on the surface was just perfect. Schezwan chutney on the side was perfect too. Tandoori Makahne Popcorn were ordered for my son and he had a good time munching on those. Veg Mushroom and Soya Keema Pav from their summer menu was a perfect starter. It had minced mushrooms and soya chunks stuffed in pav (just like a dabeli) and then cut in bite sized pieces. In mains we had Jack Daniels Dal Makahni which was a visual delight to start with and then it appealed to our tasted buds too. JD is lit and then poured on the makhni dal - some pyrotechniques which I loved. It is accompanied by garlic naan. We ended the meal with amazing Chocolate Panna Cotta. Devoured by my son too. Overall, a great place to spend time with friends or family. Nice drinks, good offers, tasty food, prompt service and they have a lot of gigs that keep on happening. Valet is available too.

This place has superb ambience with great drinks offers and food. There is ample seating arrangement but there is very less space for dance. There is dedicated dj who plays great piece of music. Service is quite slow but can be managed. The worst part is everyone smokes inside which can create problem for non smokers and it also spoils the air. Apart from smoking thing everything is good.

Ambience- 4/5 Food 5/5 Service - /5 VFM 4/5 Such a big and airy ambience, Very tasty food, Staff and Service ok, and a UNIQUE HAPPY HOUR OFFER. The restaurant stands out for its ambience and food. The food is really good. We had Beijing chicken, Honey chili fries, Keema nachos. They were really very tasty and it seems a long time that I was so loving food at a booze centric location. Full marks to the chef. The Ambience is quite big and airy, divided into two floors, having large windows, sofa as well as table chair seating options. It's more suitable for the night than day. Service was slow. We went there in the afternoon and considering there wasn't so much rush at that time. Suggestion to management, the music is really very dull and the air conditioning is not up to the mark. We came in the afternoon around 3 on Sunday and we did not like the music and irritated because of the AC. A CCD plays better songs than what we heard in this place. Music should be good, if people will enjoy it, they will visit the place again and again. The Drink items are priced moderate to high. They do have a HAPPY HOURS menu which offers drinks in a range from 100 to 200rs. Not all the menu items are part of happy hour. Also Zomato gold is not applicable during the happy hours. My complaint against management is that the happy hours are for the drink items, whereas the Zomato gold applies to food, in this case, Zomato gold should be allowed. To sum it up, I definitely want to visit this place once again in the evening time, but just hope that I won't be disappointed by the music and service.
