We were lucky to get a table at dinner without a reservation. The ambiance was very enticing, and watching the food prepared adds to its authenticity and charm. We really enjoyed the appetizer and salad courses, and the Arctic char entree was exceptional. We didn’t lick our plates, but it came pretty close. 😜 Great overall experience!

I came here twice, tried their breakfast and dinner menu. For the price they are charging compare to restaurants at similar settings and price range, Bistro B still has some room to improve. Taste of food is average, casual but not exciting. The good things are that ingredients are very fresh, good atmosphere and service was exceptionally good.

One of our favorite spots in Quebec! Amazing Foie Gras! Make sure to enjoy their famous sweetbread (it’s actually meat) and the Duck! Veggie dish was wonderful also. Ended with Creme Brûlée and cookie, go home soooo happy! Updated Since COVID-19: still one of the best restaurants in Quebec! Highly recommend enjoying this exceptional dining experience! We got two orders of the heirloom tomato special fresh from the local farm, foie gras terrine was perfect, fish special was perfect. Opening Hours and days have changed so book in advance!

We discovered this bistro by pure chance while a random afternoon walk as it’s not in the touristy bit of town, we came in without reservation and they treated us in a very charming way. First of all we ordered the trout and dill pate, for main course we had the linguini with prawns (delicious) and bison cooked to perfection accompanied by a delicious white wine. Our waiter (also host) did a great job in addition to preparing the most delicious cocktails (Venus) ... From which I also got the recipe to take home with me YAY! The menu changes daily and they serve brunch on Sundays. We liked it that much I said the food was delicious to the staff at least 10 times 😅

Started with the chanterelle mushrooms and loved them. Perfect. Then an hour later came the duck, good taste but over cooked. Then the halibut. Not sure what happened but mushy fish with tasteless brown sauce and bizarre plating. Thanks for spraying the blue cleaner all over the table next to us as we tried to enjoy dessert. Sorry way to hit and miss and trying too hard!!!
