Le Maizerets

Visited with a friend on a Wednesday evening. It was slow due to bad weather so we were served quickly. The place is nice with interesting art work. The service was good despite a slight mix up with our order due to a language misunderstanding. The "La Mont Thabor" pizza was very good. I had a very nice experience but nothing about it made me crave more. Modern restaurant. Very pleasant waitstaff. Reservations needed the Saturday night we were there. Very delicious fettuccine carbonara and spaghetti with meat sauce. Offer two size portions which is nice. Yummy cheesecake with berries presented in small jar.

We ate here our first night in Quebec City. Our server was sweet and although her English was rusty, she was a delight! And she humoured my bad, schoolboy French. We began with a baked, breaded Brie with sesame and accompanied by apple butter. It was amazing! Next we split La Mediterraneene pizza. The pizza was a delicate thin crust and was delicious. The veggies were plentiful and a perfect blend of flavours. All at a reasonable price. We plan on going again before we leave Quebec City.

We arrived on a Thursday night close to closing time and had the place to ourselves. We were a little worried that we would suffer the fates that usually befall those who walk into a restaurant 30 minutes before closing time but we were greeted with a smile. The music and the decor were charming, the staff was extremely accommodating, and the food was spectacular. We mentioned that we planned to split our meals so our waiter split our pizza and salad onto separate plates for us. Both were very fresh and flavorful. We topped off the experience with a Nutella brownie... So much yum! If we were local, this would likely be one of our regular spots

Their pizza is really good and the service was very efficient! I wouldn't recommend going there if you're having a really big group (like over 20 people) since they don't have the space for everyone to eat together, but they still managed to get all of us somewhat close together. The food is a bit pricey, but the pizzas really are delicious!
