Torii Izakaya

Wow very nice Izakaya!! I was last minute and had to eat at the bar with colleagues but still the experience was totally worth it. The place is very cozy and the service is impeccable. But the best of it is the food. I was very impressed by the mix of ingredients and the creativity, such as using blood pudding or even sweetbread in their menu. The dumplings are fantastic, as the rest of what I tasted. I will definitely go back, and reserve to get nice cozy table.

This is by far.... One of the best izakayas I've ever been to. My boyfriend and I came to Quebec city for a week and found this little spot and was absolutely blown away. The food was absolutely spectacular, we had about eight dishes and not one disappointed. Fantastic. We sat by the bar, great service.... Definitely recommend. Great cocktails as well. Well done.

Comments only about food: Compared to the Izakaya restaurants in Montreal there is much to be desired as food flavor. We ordered: smth simple..edamame … hard to go wrong with this one…spicy and tasty; fried duck dumplings .. nothing special about taste just fried dumplings; beef tongue smth … would have liked to taste new flavour.. alas; it took long time to get the cod but was the only dish that was was good although nothing exotic about it; …And … the eclair … not much different from the one you may get in a grocery store
