Restaurant L'immedia

I was in Quebec city for a few days and this came as one of the highly recommended places to check out based on the research my cousin did. This place is famous for their smoked meat & fish and chips. However, it was the poutine that turned out to the best and which I would highly recommend to order. Staff does speak English and Service was good. However there was no menu in English so I had to briefly translate it for my cousin and friends. They told me they did see a menu in English online but we weren't able to find it. Maybe it is a good idea to have one English menu on hand for the summer tourists? Smoke Meat wasn't as big even though it was supposed to be their bigger size.. Maybe I Just got used to the bigger portions from the Montreal Smoked Meat establishments and it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. Their hot dog was just ok too.. Fish and Chips was well fried but nothing special. The best poutine was the one with tons of meat.. You won't go wrong with it

Even though in general I can't tell the difference between two different coffees, I'm very picky on poutine. Since the beginning of the pandemic I've been ordering poutine through delivery services frequently from several different restaurants. So far, this is the best poutine I've ordered. Additionally, the sauce was in a cup separate from the rest of the poutine so the fries weren't soggy. I also ordered their homemade pogo because it looked different from what I'm used to, and it may be my favorite pogo.

Looking for a good smoke meat sandwich and fries resulted in a trip to L'Immedia (thanks to the Internet). The meat was flavourful, tender and hand sliced to perfect portions. The fries were excellent and the best I found in eastern Canada. A good selection of beverages was availalble. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was an thoroughly enjoyable experience.

A good selection of beverages was availalble. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was an thoroughly enjoyable experience. So much so I return 2 more times before I moved on.
