Applebee's

I’m from out of town, down here working by myself. I figured fast food is getting old. It’s been a long day, and all I want is a couple cold beers, and a nice steak. I ordered the ribeye, and when it showed up, I laughed…. I’ve had better lookin’ steaks at Waffle House on an all nighter after bar hopping. … this thing is ridiculous. And if this is 12 ounces…. I’m 12 inches. I hate Applebees. Every single one I’ve stepped foot into, has been the same. Horrible food… but… 2 stars for good service. It’s not their fault the buyers are idiots.

Was a great adventure. Went from on destination to another before settling on Applebee's. The service was excellent. We did indulge in adult beverages and steaks. So that cranked the cost up. Service was so good I tipped over 25%. Would like to be rich and tip what they were worth, the whole bill or more.

French fries were tough, apparently they had been there a while. When one my lunch mates mentioned the the reply was “I will have them make fresh ones.” The meat on my prime rib sandwich was dried out and cold and there was some weird sauce on edge of the sandwich but none of it on the inside of it. Another lunch mate ordered soup and it was slopped down the outside of the bowl and into a saucer. Will not go back, staying with the adage “kick me once it’s your fault, kick me twice , it’s my fault “. Also, server never asked if we wanted a second adult beverage or dessert. Just slapped the ticket on the table and says to pay her.

Food was hot and relatively a short wait, however that was the only plus tonight. Food was bland all around. Sauced boneless wings and chicken strips were half covered. Mac and cheese was very bland, over cooked, and watery. Our waitress was slow with checking in us and never came to check on us once while we ate. Needed refills halfway through and there were absolutely no staff members to be seen on the floor. Do not come here expecting to get the late night apps deal. They only accept that for the 9pm to close time slot instead of the advertised 3-6 and 9 to close. Frustrating when they give you a menu showing they are supposed to do this but fall back from it. Gonna be a while before we go back there.

First I went in the bathroom, the floor was sticky and there were flies everywhere...ick. My two kids 15 and 22 we're at the table. The drinks ordered were water, diet Pepsi and sierra mist....all was right except mountain dew instead of Sierra mist. So we ordered our food. Appetizers first and they were good. My son ordered chicken broccoli Alfredo, my daughter ordered prime rib sandwich NO ONION with loaded mashed potatoes and I ordered steak, loaded mashed and broccoli with cheese.My son's food was fine. My daughter's sandwich was full of onion and they gave her fries. My broccoli was hard, cold and had shredded cheese on it. Broccoli and cheese is with creamy cheese, not shredded none melting cheese. Waiter said okay just a minute, walked away and was helping his other table while the rest of my food got cold!?! He finally came back and we were like my son's food is fine, you can just take ours back and take it off the bill. Then the I guess manager came over offering desert yada yada. No thank you, our orders should of been right to start with and then we would of ordered dessert! I just don't feel anyone there really cared🤷‍♀️
