Krispy Kreme Reading

I wandered lonely as a cloud , Floating my way around the mall, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host of doughnuts glazed and all, Within the box, Ready to seize, Oh may I have a dozen please? Continous as the stars that shine, And twinkle on the milky way, They stretched in never ending line, Beside the till where one can pay, Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Enough to make a grown man dance. The glaze atop them shone; And they Outdid the other treats with glee, A poet could not but be gay, And feel a little bit greedy, The sumptuous glaze is what I sought, Atop the dozen I had bought. So oft, when on my couch I lie, In vacant or in pekish mood, I'll take a doughnut from nearby, Then feel the bliss of yummy food, And then my heart with joy will gleam, For I have been to Krispy Kreme.
