We had such a wonderful time visiting this store when welcomed by Tash and Alice. Learn about the story of the ice cream and how they became the largest ice cream producers in NYC... AMAZING!!!!

Icecream with a museum in the back open to the public. Icecream is creamy. They have unique flavors of icecream. They also have season flavors available. The staff is very friendly and patient. The museum is cool to look at and has a lot of interactive stuff to do there. You can also have a seat in the museum room while eating icecream. Downside is that they do not keep the museum area clean.

Ample hills is one of NYCs best ice cream shops, particularly if you like “stuff” in your ice cream. This is a fun visit if you want to have an interactive experience, you can learn a bit about the ice cream making process, peer into the factory, and get a scoop while you’re there. Plus red hook is an awesome place to explore!

Ice cream good? Yes. Educational? Yes. Did I mention the ice cream tastes good??? If you want a little bit of an experience while also eating ice cream then your in luck. Try all the flavors (even the ones you think you won't or usually don't like). They let you have small free taste samples. Tried the honeycomb one and it was great. Can't explain the taste of the ice cream though 🤔 it's good and different too. Can't put my finger on it. Maybe because it's fresh and made on premises? Take the family. The kids will like it for there are things for them to explore while there and burn some of that ice cream sugar energy off. People who like finding new unique things to do will enjoy this. Parking can be difficult in the summer. Might have to walk a few blocks because parking can be sparse but at least you will walk off some of that ice cream. There are other things to do in the area so you can make it a mini adventure if you want. Can be romantic too... Shoe your partner you trying to impress something interesting.
