Citizen Burger Bar Carytown

Unfortunately I only got one photo of our food order. The onion rings were delicious and had a little spicy kick in the badder. The mushroom Swiss with blackened onions was also delicious. They give you an abundance of yummy fries, too. I definitely recommend trying this little gem of a place! P.S. they do have about 3 choices for the children's menu, no chicken strips, though.

My burger was great! I got a custom turkey burger and added my own toppings - the bacon and the garlic aioli were awesome. The brioche bun was fresh and buttery, almost like a croissant. Turkey burger was juicy and perfectly cooked. I got a caesar salad with my burger which was just okay, the dressing didn’t taste like much other than lemon but it was still good. Have to say I am a pickle girly and the pickle wasn’t great, but the service made up for it! Great music taste from the bartenders.

If you want a really great burger who's price is in line with its quality then this place is for you! My buddy ordered the shishito peppers for a starter and they were on point, freshly made and not too spicy with 2 dipping sauces. We both got the steakhouse burger cooked pink and opted to get the regular fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and tasted unlike anything I've had, I'm sure it had a lot to do with the meat that is used. Cheddar cheese is local as well and the bread is too. Even down to the bacon it's all locally made. I just can't rave enough about the quality and their service, my man Adam hooked us up with impeccable service and made sure we had everything we needed. Please give this place a try next time you travel to Richmond VA!!!
