Sakura Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar

We enjoyed the Hibachi here, got duo each of us, and the fried rice was delicious and planty, actually we did not expect such large portion of the fried rice for all of us. The fillet steak and scallops on mine were tender, fresh and juicy, my wife got NY steak and shrimp, my son got salmon and NY steak. The mushroom soup is tasty. It was a great dining experience, and we are sure to come again!

It had been a while.. and I mean a long while since I had been to Sakura’s. My last visit I wasn’t too impressed. However, today! 100 grand! I ordered a tornado roll and a spicy crunch shrimp roll for sushi. I finished the shrimp roll because that’s a classic yet basic fav of mine. BUT… the tornado roll was simply outstanding! So much I couldn’t even finish it. I wasn’t expecting that type of presentation for that one. It was literally a mountain over the sushi roll of what they describe. So kudos to the sushi’s chefs 7/29/23 around noon for that! I also got hibachi which I expect to last me at least two days. I ate some today and I still have so much left to dig into tomorrow! Today was great visit. I just hope and pray the next time I go back I have just as great of an experience! No photos to share although I wish I had some cause it was sooo good. I ate first and thought later!

PLEASE READ!!: THE SERVER DOES NOT KEEP THE TIP AND THE CHEFS ONLY GET TO KEEP A TIP IF IS CASH AND YOU GIVE IT TO THEM BY HAND!!!! THE OWNER TAKES ALL THEIR TIPS!! The food was amazing we sat at the hibachi section where they cook in front of you and it was all super good but the fact that the owner keeps the tips is ridiculous he doesn’t do anything to deserve it and he doesn’t even pay them good enough for them to not need a tip! I think every person in the service industry deserves to keep tips if given to them this is such a let down and I will not be coming back!!!

Pretty good. The food was decently cooked even if the chef want very talkative. Not much more expensive than other similar places of this style. They are fast though. Within minutes of us ordering the chef was out to begin cooking. I felt like the food was a bit overcooked personally but my wife loved her chicken so to each their own, just be prepared for it to be a bit charred.
