The lady who owns and runs the restaurant is always there - she is the stamp of consistency reflected in the food, the service, and the cleanliness. The buffet is always my favorite, that I forget they have an even wider variety on the menu made-to-order. I have catered from here and the price is very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and check out this spot if you like flavorful, non-Americanized Indian/Pakistani (north Western Indian) food.

Simply awesome! The most authentic and best Indian restaurant in Richmond VA. Their weekday afternoon buffet is very affordable at $8.99. It is an all you can eat buffet with 2 naans (bread) included. Today's buffet included Vegetable Pakoras (fritters), Chicken Tandoori (Indian style barbecue chicken), Chicken Curry, Eggplant, Daal (lentils), Chana Masala (chickpeas curry) & more. The vegetable fritters were awesome! I have always loved their perfectly marinated and juicy Chicken Tandoori. Worth every dime. Will definitely come again or order online. An absolute gem of a restaurant.

I went to the lunch buffet and it was so good, especially the chicken curry. It was spicy but not overwhelming. No one was there so I had the restaurant to myself. I noticed the owner is super nice. I wore my headphones and watched videos to decompress from work and they respected my space. Will definitely become a regular. Food was delicious!

My husband and I frequently dine in this restaurant. The owner of this restaurant is a very sweet lady. It is very appealing that the restaurant offers a buffet throughout the day. However, my advice is when I walk through the door I want to feel as if I've entered Pakistan (the music, the ambiance, the smell of spices). Think of the people who want to experience something different and also think of the people that may miss the comforts of their home/culture. As for food I would love to see different things on the buffet as well like Chapli Kebabs, Lahori Charga, Haleem.

Review from year 2012. I visited this place 1st time about 2 months back and after that, I have not gone to any of the other Indian restaurants except this one. They really serve the best Indian food in Richmond, VA. I have to say its the only place in Richmond which gives authentic North Indian taste. I have tried their lunch buffet on a Saturday and chicken tandoori, the tandoori wings, chicken 65, chicken biryani, chaat, dahi bade all were excellent. Cons: They always add 16% gratuity to the bill (Including lunch buffet).
