Kobe Sushi At Stony Point

I’m a regular at Cinema Cafe so I figured I have to try Cinébistro as well. We made the mistake of going to dinner beforehand so we didn’t try any real food, but the dessert was phenomenal. Definitely want to go back to try some food. We got a bottle of wine that was decently priced, but the glasses looked filthy so we used straws. While the seats don’t recline as much as I like, the dividers they have every 2 seats are so nice, and every theater should have them! You can be sitting next to a stranger but not feel like you’re on top of each other because the divider puts some space between you. Plenty of cup holders which is nice. Service was pleasant. Overall positive experience and I will be going back to try some food. Will get a mixed drink in a glass with a straw instead of wine next time lol. :)

I visited the CMX Cine'Bistro Stony Point on Saturday, December 9, 2023 to see the Renaissance. The movie and atmosphere was great. The menu and food was awful. The prices are to expensive. The pasta dish was awful and void of flavor. They use to have a great menu. You might want to consider going back to the old menu.The waiters were great.Great movie. 😊♥️♥️👍👍

The theater is clean, with partitions every 2 seats to provide some privacy. The menu changes seasonally and the food is fantastic. The bar area in the lounge is spacious, clean, and great for a pre or post movie drink. My waiter in the movie and the bartender were both attentive, and gave me space to enjoy myself. I definitely will be back!

This was my first visit. The food, service and atmosphere were great. We shared the goat cheese appetizer & a couple desserts. The pumpkin bread pudding was delicious. The cheesecake was fine, but nothing exciting. The seats RECLINED! They could rent these seats out without a movie for a quiet place to nap away from the kids!

The staff were great. Very courteous and helpful. The theater was very clean, leaving the total experience really nice. I was disappointed in the reclining feature. You can't put your feet all the way up, so it's a bit awkward feeling. The chairs are also set up in pairs. They have little dividers, so you can't see the people on the outside of the paired seats. It's neat and would be amazing if you know the other person sitting next to you. I didn't realize they were set up this way, so I was left sitting next to a stranger in a way that felt oddly exposed. Lesson learned I'll only take the aisle seats from now on.

Rating is mostly for the seats and the experience. The reclining seats are fantastic and easy to adjust. The wide aisles are easy to maneuver and get in and out. It's nice to have a beer and more substantial snacks, but they are very expensive and not good enough for the price. I recommend to limit yourself to popcorn, which comes out quick and fresh.

Fun venue, the only theater in the Richmond area I’ve be able to find with a recliner seating! The partitions between ever 2nd seat was really nice to stay in the moment with only the person you came with. Great food options, we got a sticky rice bowl, artichoke pancakes, and cheese ravioli. Disappointed that we weren’t given proper update on the kitchen close time as I did want dessert. Will still go back so clearly it wasn’t that off putting! Table side service and a little flashlight on the seat were huge pluses.
