Lee's Garden Buffet

I went at 6:00 yesterday when you would expect a buffet to have fresh food. My main problem with this place is 80% of the dishes were obviously old been sitting for hours with a crusted dried edge around the serving platters. I love sushi but wouldn't dare touch it based on the fact the shrimp and crab were virtually cold by the time I sat back down because half of their heating lights are out. The taste is why I didn't give 1 star, they do have good flavor and quality Chinese food items ... However if the owner wasn't so obviously cheap that they don't replenish old food on the bar this place will never get to 5 stars. I would try once more to see if the food is fresh (at dinner time no less), if it's the same I will change this review to 1 star, if its fresh I'd give them 4 stars.

Honestly, trash. Spent $57 for a family of three. Food was cold, greasy and not cooked well. There’s so many flies, they hover over the food and they will hover over your plate the longer you sit there. Dessert was disgusting, even more flies around that than the food. All the utensils to pick the food up are disgusting and covered in some other food. Oh, and if you put something on your plate to try and don’t end up liking it, be careful because there’s a $20 fee for wasted food. They’re just too cheap, with all the costs they cut, you would think the food would be good but it’s just awful. Used to be good a few years back, more of a selection, but now I hope they close down when Hilltop reconstructs the mall and adds more restaurants.

I walked into this place to grab lunch and the first thing I did was pay for the buffet which was 14.95 then I proceeded to go to the restroom and if I had not already paid I would have just ran out of there. I walked into the bathroom and it smelled like straight up sewage I threw up in my mouth because I couldn't take it. I proceeded to go out and sit down and I saw the floors were just mopped so I was hoping that they did not just have a leak of sewage on their entire floor. I said to myself it can't be that bad so I filled up my plate with food sat down excited to eat it everything looked good but it tasted awful. I was the first one to touch the food as they had just opened and my entire plate was cold and all the food tasted like two-day-old Chinese leftovers. So then I got something that would taste okay cold like sushi and that's tasted like it was made yesterday was not fresh at all. I decided to get fruit and I got the canned margarine oranges that they put out and those tasted like they were expired because they were burning my mouth. It tasted like expired orange juice. The best part about that meal was the cut up oranges and watermelon they couldn't not screw that up. As I left the restaurant I saw a family walking in and I almost told them to just turn around and go somewhere else. I did not want to freak them out so I didn't but I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy and then I read reviews that people have had food poisoning so now I'm scared about that. Hopefully I didn't eat enough to get sick.

Do not eat here. I arrived at 7:45, food was soggy or either hard and dry. I've never had fried rice so hard and dried out. All the dishes with meet had a very unpleasant floral or ginger type taste to it. I was paranoid they were going to charge me the "20.00" waste of food charge listed on the register when u come in. They charge you up front I guess because people don't want to par After" they sample the food. I have never reviews a restaurant online but DON'T eat here. The noodles Lo Mein were the only thing I could eat that was edible. They had ran out of many things by 8p and they chose not to put anything else out. Truly the worst Chinese dining experience I have ever had. That smell of the fish items is going to haunt me. Yuck.

To pricey, the food is not worth the price. When you go in there the owner hypes it up like it's so great. I ordered short ribs they were not short ribs they were pork rib. He bragged about the mango salad. You barely got two bites of it. If you go in there do not order to go, you will be ripped off. Also the atmosphere the floors are filthy.

Cold food and the lady never came to refill any of our drinks. I pulled a couple dirty plates off the top of the stack and notified the worker they were dirty. The worker looked at the plates and put them back on top of the stack ready for someone else to grab. Overall I really I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the food, cleanliness of the place, and service provided. I would recommend trying a different buffet.

Today is mother’s Day ! I love the tarot desert it tastes so delicious and the I bought my whole families there my mom and auntie are love the food there. The buffet has good food and the desert are good I would recommend to my friends but not sure why they don’t have lines. My son and my daughter told me they loves the ice cream over there and the fried egg noodles. I am so glad I make a good decision to take my mom and auntie to have dinner over there for the mother’s day.:)
