Cafe Asia 2

We came to Cafe Asia on the recommendation of a friend who called it " the best Asian food you will have in your life." After eating there, I have to agree. The delicious smells enticed us as soon as we sat down. Everything we ordered was incredible. The decor is also unique and beautiful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and friendly. It was truly a five star experience! We will be back!

We've been dining at Café Asia 2 since they opened several years ago. Their food is always top-notch, their public facilities are always kept clean and organized (dining rooms & restrooms). The service is excellent. The staff are well-trained, knowledgeable and personable. They have a large selection of Asian food, and everything is always delicious. Keep in mind, this place does a lot of business for a small café. It's *always* busy, which is a good thing. It can be crowded at times, but they make it work. Expect a small wait during the dinner rush, but they turn over tables and seat parties efficiently. It's very well-operated, from the management down. The owners know what they're doing. They have the best Asian cuisine in southwest Roanoke County.

I used to LOVE this place and would return at every opportunity, even when I lived out of town. However, I have only been there twice in the last 6 months and both experiences were unfavorable. First, on a more positive note I highly recommend the taro bubble tea. It’s absolutely the best I’ve had anywhere, historically. As for the food, I honestly thought it was a fluke back in July. I ordered 3 appetizers, a sushi roll and an entree ($70, for those looking for a price point). The food seemed rushed, and was surprisingly bland. Last week I ordered 4 rolls, and 1 entree ($68 for reference). And again, not the best quality. All of the rolls were carelessly thrown together and falling apart. The flavors did not match what was ordered. We could not get past a bite of each item and ended up having to throw it all away. I’d like to give the benefit of the doubt and say that these experiences could have been attributed to being busy, or the fact that they were takeout orders. I did have to wait longer than communicated, which I didn’t mind. But would still expect better quality food for the wait time and price. I will not likely be back. If you give this place a try, I would recommend dine-in only for a better outcome.

I absolutely won't eat seafood but everyone in my fiance's family loves it. Luckily there's food stuff here for me too. This is not a fast in and out experience. It takes time, it's not cheap, but it's worth it. Well cooked, well seasoned, delicious, and always a hit with people who know their edible fishies. And folks who eat fried rice and vegetables too! The staff is also friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

It’s disappointing to see a restaurant in my hometown getting worst everyday. I gave this restaurant a last chance to see if it getting better but unfortunately it doesn’t. First of all, my server did not bring me hot tower (like they used to) and surprise! The table next to me got theirs. I ordered spring rolls and fried calamari for this visit (since I’m too terrifying of their rolls.) the spring roll just have noodles, few lettuce and one shrimp. Worst of all the roll wasn’t event tight and everything staring to falling out. The calamari does not help either. I have eat lots of fried calamari before and this time I found my least favorite. If you planning or want to visit this restaurant, please don’t. Save yourself some money, you deserve better. By the way, they didn’t bring utensils for my family members. 2/10 for service.

Fantastic spot. We had to go order and it was all excellent. I had beef pd Thai level 4 spice and it had me sweating a bit. This is one of the only places I’ve seen with mango sticky rice dessert and it was great. Reasonable pricing and the bubble tea was on point. Drunken noodles were good, wasabi pork shumai was good, chicken lettuce wraps were good, d the chicken spring rolls were good. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a good Asian spot!
