Golden Corral

I had to take the time to write this review because I was so impressed with the excellent service that I received here!! I walked in to the restaurant with a cast on my right hand and the lady behind the register looked at me and said she will help me with whatever I needed. I can be a terrible pain when it comes to ordering food because I want little spoons of this and little bits of that. It can be quite a nuisance making a plate for me. Sunshine, the lady that was helping me was so patient! She went out of her way to make sure that I got everything that I wanted! The restaurant is clean, plenty of food, and everyone is so pleasant! To the manager Mike and his team, KUDOS on how well organized and how pleasant it is to walk into your restaurant and be so well treated!!

This Golden Coral was certainly one of the better ones I've eaten at, 👍 timing can be everything at buffets , put this visit down for high noon on Saturday. They were fairly busy, and the food was all good , nothing looked like it was past its prime (You know what I'm talking about buffet lovers) And when a buffet item got low it was refreshed quickly That's good management /supervision. I wish I had gotten the lady's name that kept our table clear of used plates, and kept our beverage glasses full she gets 5-stars herself!!!! We had a table of eight people, and our lunch could not have went better. Good food, good service, and nice people 😀

The food was wonderful. However the gentleman that we had was not helpful. He would ask the other customers if they needed anything yet he failed to ask my table. His name was Yoel. I had to personally ask for an item that was not on the bar but was in the store. He returned with that item and took old plates. He never asked if we wanted anything to drink. Nor did he ask if we would like coffee. Yet he asked two tables beside us. He later used the sweeper to sweep while we were still the table. I found him to be only helpful to the Caucasian customers and barely speaking with the Customers of African descendent. His actions disturbed me so much that the normal $5 or $10 tip was not given to him.

They have great food, just one problem that I have, why is it that they will not allow a customer to get a take out box, to take home any food they didn't finish, bc they got full, just can't finish it all. I don't think that is right, the food was already paid for, it's their. They will give you a take out cup for drinks, but not for coffee, why? I understand that some people would go back fill up the plate,just trying to get extra food for free, but of the waitress see that the food on a person plate was eaten, just not all of it, they should be allowed to take their food home, they paid for it. Especially with the elderly people, a lot of time they are hungry, but just can't finish it all. The waitress can watch and make sure they don't go back to get more food. Like today, I was really hungry, the vegetables were delicious, but in the middle of my meal, my teeth started hurting, I couldn't finish my food, I asked for a take out box and I got a flat NO, even though I told them why I couldn't finish it right then. Just think, I paid for a meal, I had a problem, had to leave all my food, they wouldn't even let me carry my coffee home. Wasted money, wasted food, I know they just threw it in the trash. I didn't even want a dessert, even before I started eating. Other than this, the food is great.
