Fresh Baked Bakery

I just photographed a wedding at Sundara where I was able to photograph a beautiful wedding cake by Fresh Baked Bakery! As a wedding photographer, I work for such a long time without lunch breaks or bathroom breaks some days. So by the time the reception comes around, my team is HUNGRY. And if I'm being honest, I'm only here for the cake (not really but really haha). Seriously though, we do love wedding cake and when the cake tastes amazing you stop by the cake table again after the sparkler exit. We aren't even ashamed! haha! We tried 2 of the three flavors and each were divine!!! I highly recommend Fresh Baked Bakery and can't wait to work with them again!

I was extremely happy with my decision to have Fresh Baked to our wedding cake. Sarah did a wonderful job with the tasting and gave us a full sampling of all she could offer. The cake was perfect. Exactly what we ordered and more. We ended up running out of fake flowers for decorations for her to use, but had some leftover fresh ones there and she just ran with it. Looking back I can't believe we were going to use anything but fresh! Fabulous job, thank you very much!

Just wanted to say thank you Sarah for all the work and effort you your staff put into our wedding cake. It was beautiful!!! I almost hated to cut into it :) And it tasted so delicious! I really did not want to share! Keep up the good work and good luck to all of your future endeavors! Next time we are in the Roanoke area, we'll stop in!

Fresh Baked made the most incredible wedding cake for me this past year! I highly recommend! Sarah was wonderful to work with and was quick to respond to emails or calls. Not only did my cake look absolutely PERFECT, but it tasted amazing too! I had some specific flavors that I wanted for each layer and she was able to not only meet my expectations but she exceeded them! Again, I highly recommend fresh baked for your DREAM WEDDING CAKE!!!!!!

Sarah was so easy to work with for our wedding cake! The complimentary cake tasting was delicious which only made our decision harder, haha. She had amazing flavors! And her designs are gorgeous. She also provides delivery services and offers to loan cake stands out for no additional charge if you are able to return it the next business day.

I recently purchased a cake for my parents' 54th wedding anniversary from Fresh Baked Bakery . The cake was absolutely gorgeous and, once we moved past not wanting to cut it, it proved to be delicious as well. Sarah was very helpful throughout the process. She listened to what I wanted and made helpful suggestions when needed. Highly recommended!

All right y'all. I'll admit it. I originally went to Sarah at Fresh Baked for our wedding cake because her shop is located inside our event venue. I figure we would give her a try first and if it was terrible we would look elsewhere. Thank Goodness we tried her first!! The tasting was AMAZING!! My husband couldn't get enough! He would have asked for seconds if I had let him! Luckily we had a large enough wedding to have a three tier cake. I was able to provide her with a picture for inspiration and give her the tweaks I wanted and she did an amazing job! three square tiers with a white and red fondant that matched our roses PERFECTLY. She worked hand in hand with my florist to ensure the perfect fondant colors. That meant the WORLD to me!! my guests were floored with the presentation and then we all tasted her creation - OMG! My husband took the left overs to work and had co-workers fighting over the cake. Literally. It was truly one of the best cakes I've had at a wedding in my life. I swear, it's not because it was my wedding. My guests have repeatedly commented on it since our October 2019 nuptials. I will refer everyone I know to her and we can't wait to get more cakes from her in the future!

Our cake didn't taste like we were expecting it to but it was still delicious! We wanted twine around our cake and unfortunately it was terrible to try and cut and our cake started to fall apart! We wished Sarah would have made that aware to us because we were considering taking the twine off but we did appreciate the amount of work that went into it. It looked exactly the way we wanted it to and it was BEAUTIFUL! We felt like she had limited flexibility but she awesome to work with. Thank you again!
