Awesome, awesome, awesome!
Found them by mistake, vary happy I took a chance. Sandwiches are very flavorful and owner is an awesome guy. I always take my trainees or clients there at least once to show them the hidden gem in downtown. The spicy tri-tip is my favorite and holding the spicy Italian a very close second.

What an amazing experience! Once you walk in you are welcomed by the aroma of the deli. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. They took time to get to know us and explain anything we had questions on. The food was a work of art. Absolutely delicious. I am so glad I happened to walk past and stop in!
The shop has been here for over 30 years, each employee we talked to has worked here over a decade each.

The godfather is fire!!! The sausage is delicious. Red peppers are fire. Not too much mustard. Finally, the bread is not too thick but it somehow is soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. 🤯. Highly recommend.

I ordered a cup of soup to go with my sandwich expecting something half the size, it was too much food for me but I'm glad I did. The (loaded potato) soup and sandwich were both amazing. The sandwich is the Godfather. It has some kick if you get it with the peppers but was excellent. The bread was so good I considered asking if I could buy some to take home.
They also have a nice selection of bottled drinks including some less common ones if you want to try something different. I definately plan on coming back next time I'm in town.

I stopped by for the wednesday prime rib special. The prime rib was super tender and had great flavor. Just the right amount of spicy aioli and the bread was equally tasty. They have a large selection of chips and drinks and also a coffee bar. Guys working were really nice. Will definitely be back!

I was skeptical going in, because I am a lover of a well made chicken salad sandwich. That being said I am in absolute love with this version, every bite was a party on my palate! I'm going to be dreaming about these flavors until I find myself back in sacramento again 😍. Also this sandwich was huge! (Pics are of chicken salad sandwich)

Very simple deli sandwiches but absolutely incredible. Sourdough roll was crunchy but soft inside, oil and vinegar was perfect, great roast beef and served very easy to eat on the go. Highly recommend!
