It might look like the restaurant is upstairs -but it's not!
This quaint eatery is far from the marring crowd kind of by itself ... The food is excellent and I'm sure the clientele makes Su's a destination whenever they get the urge to eat good chinese. Loved the hot-n-sour soup, shrimp fried rice, and combo noodles.
We were visiting Old Sacramento and looked for Chinese while at the Crocker museum of Art. We came back satiated and delighted.
I'll go back!

This place is delicious and great for your wallet. For $10, I am filled or stuffed. Many different combinations of foods and meats/tofu. Great if working downtown and fast. You can get the combo to go and still confess with soup!

Whenever I'm in the State capitol, I'll pay them a visit. Fair prices, good Chinese food. Try their shrimp chow fun, or szchewan eggplant with steam rice.👌

We took a risk going out for Chinese food on Christmas, but it was worth it! They were obviously very busy, and did their best to handle both the dine-in and take-out customers. Our server was extremely welcoming and friendly despite the holiday rush. Our meals were great, and I highly recommend the cheese wontons. It was such a positive experience that exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely be returning!

Found this hidden gem on a whim. Could NOT be more impressed. The food was insanely fresh and high quality. The prices were on par for the cuisine and serving sizes definitely fill your belly. The ambiance of the inside is UNBELIEVABLE. Felt comfortable and welcome just entering. Will most DEFINITELY be a returning customer.

Great place, super friendly (you'll love Jennifer who runs the place because she 'loves Sacramento and wants to give back'), great food for very reasonable prices. Huge portions. I got combo dinner #2 (pictured) for $7.95, highly recommend. Easily two meals. They even have metal chopsticks (sustainability). Place is lovely, like you're going into a good friend's home. Next time: something sizzling & yummy, baked in a clay pot!

Wow! My wife and I moved from California to South Dakota 9 years ago due to my health & haven't had good Chinese food since. Passing through Sacramento, we chose Gam Le Sing based on reviews. The owner was extremely helpful and very friendly, the portions were huge, prices were low, and most importantly, the food was AMAZING! I could have made a meal of the fried rice alone (best ever)! If only it weren't a 1500 mile drive - we'd be regulars!

This restaurant is amazing! The food is extremely authentic, everything is bursting with flavor. Clean tasting ingredients that won’t make you feel like your stomach is getting stuffed with MSG, or just flat flavoring like you get at other Chinese restaurants.
You can definitely tell that every dish is carefully made out of love.
Jennifer is an amazing, engaging, friendly server, who really goes the extra mile to make sure that you and your guests are comfortable.
I’m proud to say that I will be coming back!:) Thanks to everyone at Gam Le Sing.

Food is soooo good here and they have my fav.....Mu Shu. Not every place has Mu Shu. Service is excellent and they have patio seating too. There's also this whimsical wall clock with a unique chime that goes off on the hour. Im in love and will return soon and often.

Our family is visiting Sacramento for two days. Found this place via high google and yelp reviews. We’re so glad we’ve found a place that offers very authentic Cantonese food!! Definitely one of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in the States and the price is totally reasonable (I’m a Chinese myself and I’ve been in the States for a couple years)! The owner is super nice as well that makes us come here twice in a row. If you’re into Cantonese food, definitely give it a try!
