What an amazing experience and restaurant! 221 Main restaurant was magnificent! Located in St. Joseph, Michigan, this restaurant is a great date spot for adults to let their hair down, dress up, and enjoy amazing food. If you decide to go, it's best to get a reservation. The food is so good! Very delicious looking plates and great tasting! We enjoyed the steak and pork chop. As an appetizer, I enjoyed the calamari. The drinks were amazing as well! We enjoyed a drink without alcohol and of course, I tore the water up. Lovely food! The service was amazing! All the servers were kind, on top of their work, and are very good with the menu. The water came at great pace, and the meals came hot. The atmosphere was classy and inviting. I loved the dim lights and the adult feel. I appreciated the decor and the beautiful walls. Everything looked perfect! 221 Main is a lovely restaurant to experience. The price point is a little high, but the food and quality are worth it.

Great experience. Chose to eat here on a whim, on Friday night. No issues getting a table for two (in the off season/winter). Ayana was a fantastic server, making us feel like we were the only customers she had. Robert was amazing, offering some excellent whiskey suggestions, that were spot on. Highly recommend for grabbing some appetizers and drinks, full meal, or just drinks at the bar. I will be back, still have several whiskeys and craft cocktails to try.

The owner, Robert, has really put all of his heart and soul into making this restaurant an experience to remember for everyone who visits. The food is top notch, like something you would experience in the finest boutique restaurants. Incredible steaks, and prime rib to die for. Incredible service as well! The rooftop patio with fireplace is what initially caught our attention.

Holy cow. This place works for us. Killer location. Excellent staff. Awesome beverages. The food did not suck. We had grilled white fish. And I was a spoiled brat - surf n turf. Such a sweet area of St. Joseph. The owner, Rob, stopped by our table. Everyone has an opinion/a--hole. We love this place!!!!

We eat there tonight 09/07/23. I called in about an hour before they opened and was pleasantly surprised by the happy voice on the other end. He said he would set it up for us. We arrived about 15minutes early and we’re seated in the “new” just opened today dining section. Guess we were the first. We ordered and my steak came out the way I ordered it rare. Not many can do that. We finished our meal had a cup of coffee. It was a very nice experience. Thank you

We've dined here at least six times and the food and service have been fantastic every time. The perch and comeback burger are two of our favorites. Jessica, our waitress on our recent visit, was wonderful and went way above and beyond to make our dinner especially memorable. The terrace is lovely, and that's where we always reserve a table. Tip: reservations are handled via e-mail so if you want to eat here, especially on the terrace, you need to submit your request enough in advance, especially for a summer weekend.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. We ate upstairs on edge of terra e, beautiful view, food was delicious, drinks were amazing (so many old fashion options! And whiskey options!). Service was very nice and Robert was an exceptional host- made us feel like family! Later say by fireplace on terrace. Would highly recommend the place!

Loved the ambiance of sitting rooftop on a beautiful warm summer evening. Was disappointed in the timeliness of our meal. However, despite the fact that we waited way too long for our food (not sure if there was calamity in the kitchen?), It was really good! Our server (Joe) was excellent and very apologetic for the experience. Hopefully they'll correct this and ensure that other customers won't have this experience moving forward.
