Roths West Salem

A couple of times we have eaten food from the deli. and enjoyed it every time. The salad bar is very complete and the produce is fresh and delicious. The pricing is reasonable as well. We've tried the Brisket sandwich, The Reuben and the Grilled Chicken all were excellent. This is becoming a new go-to for this old couple.

The store is great. But having to wander around for 20 minutes trying to get a bathroom code so I don't wet myself is unacceptable. Some people have health issues and this could literally cost them a trip to the ER... After shopping I realized it must just be this location that is bad. I was after sushi which is amazing from the other locations. All the spicy things the ones I love were just a mess. 2-3x to much mayo and sauce. Just looked greasy and gross with that much mayo. The presentation was just bad as well. Squished and just sloppy in the containers. Walked around for a while trying to find something else for my dinner, but wound up just leaving and driving across town to another location where everything was great as always. Management get your ish together and train your employees properly. This isn't on them. It's on management for not doing their jobs.

Please keep in mind when coming here not all Roth's are nice. This location in West Salem is definitely the nicest Roth's in the entire state of Oregon that is a fact! I'm saying this because I don't want people to come here and think all Roth's locations are the same and going to be just as good..... Lol cuz they definitely are not. This location really does do it all from custom Cakes, to fantastic deli food and little private restaurant with delicious hot sandwiches, friendly staff, fresh produce, large selection of goods and actually decent and reasonable prices on all items throughout the entire store! Also great florist's! Oh and I might also add behind the deli is a second floor that holds bathrooms and other things I believe it also has seating up there. I'm really quite pleased with this store.

This store is horrible! The management does not care about their customers. Bought a custom cake for my parent's 50th anniversary and not only was it not what was ordered, but the bakery manager and the store manager acted like they could have cared less when they we talked to about it. They literally brought my 72 year old mom to tears when she tried to talk to them and were very confrontational and argumentative. Absolutely horrible customer service!
