The Original Pancake House

Really nice family atmosphere, dishes are good size and flavorful. My Eggs Benedict (pictured) were great!!! I think they need to work on waiters' friendliness, the one guy we had seemed like he didn't want to be there, at all, and I don't recall seeing any other waiter or waitress smiling or giving you a happy welcoming or a good morning. Food wise, recommend 💯!!!

We went here recently for a family breakfast and were BLOWN AWAY by how amazing the food and service was. It was pretty busy when we showed up, and we were told it would be a 15 minute wait with about 4 families ahead of us. They got us in and seated in only about 5 minutes and the staff were so friendly and caring and had amazing customer service. The food was INCREDIBLE. I got the Eggs Benedict, and it was done to perfection! The poached eggs were done perfectly and they LOADED it with hollandaise (unlike most places I feel skimp on the sauce). My boyfriend got the Biscuits and Gravy and again, it was drenched in gravy and absolutely delicious! All of the food was done perfectly and the portions were huge. They also freshly squeeze their orange juice every morning and you can absolutely taste the difference. I can't imagine being disappointed by any of their meals and will definitely be coming back for more! It's worth every dollar for real, home-cooked, huge portion-food and wonderful customer service!!!

Breakfast is no longer a disappointment! Sweet Lord as my witness, I will never order another pancake from anywhere else!! To be completely transparent, after COVID, my sweet tooth had been nonexistent. The ginormous bacon mushroom swiss omelet was so amazing, and the pancakes were the PERFECT companion with that. I was full so I only had a couple of bites but the salty/sweet contrast takes me way back to the family restaurants in the mid '80s. I also really loved how clean and busy the place is. They get their hustle on. I almost removed a star only because they aren't open past 1pm. They are too amazing to keep that goodness all to themselves.

3.5 rounded up. Was seated within 10-15 which was nice. Took a bit for our server to come, but she was friendly enough. My husbands food had a hair in the middle of the pancake.. took a bit to get the waitress over and we showed her. She did bring out more pancakes, but not much of an apology or anything, when that is pretty gross. Still, overall, it wasn’t a horrible experience but wasn’t the best.
