Visited from New Hampshire, on our way across the country to Texas. What a wonderful and welcoming place! It has super friendly staff that make you feel like you are a regular even though you just arrived. And not to mention how great the food is!!! I would love to come here everyday for breakfast if I could.

I was visiting the other afternoon to eat an amazing turkey avocado focaccia sandwich for lunch and two fellas came in without masks. They refused to put the mask on after the owner asked them to put it on, per health regulations. The owner also gave them other options, such as curbside service. I was very upset by this. I also felt uncomfortable for the owner, while she was being confronted by the older one. I am a regular customer and eat here a couple days a week. The owners are wonderful people and very caring. I saw the reviews these fellas posted and felt the need to write my own review and first hand experience. Not that I want to promote the review, but see attached. Please help keep others and yourself safe and please be kind to all these owners who are opening their doors to server YOU!

Small but warm, friendly people. We visited the Salem location and actually drove past it the first time! Look for a small white building with a blue roof on the corner. Praying is a little tight, but the food and service are worth it. Deli style counter with a jaw dropping assortment of homemade pastries and desserts. The menu is a n unexpected assorted of yummy breakfast foods and delicious coffee. We were helped by Matthew aka "Beth" (he'll have to tell you his story), who knew every dish and had recommendations based on your preferences. Our barista and server (I regret not getting her name!) Was attentive, quick and detail oriented. The food was delicious and served with concern and care for our comfort and needs. If you're in Salem, Roanoke or Christiansburg you have to stop and eat there!!
