Dudley's Oldtown

Wanted a quick breakfast and we got that and quality as well. Reasonably priced and yummy. My wife and I had the two eggs, potatoes, bacon, and toast. My wife had O.J was huge in a 24oz glass and I had coffee . Eggs were perfect, bacon thick cut yummy! We were in a hurry running to work but so glad we stopped we left talking about when we'd have a return visit.

Sadly the homemade hollandaise sauce is no longer…. I did bring it to the waitresses attention as it takes like yellow tinted warm mayonnaise. She said they stopped making the homemade sauce and were using a premade one. When we scraped it off it didn’t even move like sauce! Please bring it back!!! Otherwise all else is good but it ruined a dish that used to be amazing.

Experience? Try PARADISE! From the minute we walked in, we were greeted, acknowledged and thanked! The staff is awesome! Timely, cheerful and attentive. Clean place, great service. I love rice with my breakfast and they had it! Portions were great! Having been in the restaurant business, they checked all the boxes! We are glad to come back and tell our families about Dudley's! (We used to go to Sang's- before they went out of business).

DATE: July 3, 2021 PARKING: Curbside and a free municipal parking lot behind the restaurant. BATHROOMS: Cleaner than most other restaurants. AMBIANCE: Dudley's is a diner. Nothing fancy here. It's clean and appears to be well maintained.  pretty well lit. Window and near window seating. STAFF: Wait staff are friendly. They're bilingual. MENU: Simple American dishes on menu. Food is prepared to order and portions are reasonable. delicious.  Nothing overpriced here. This is my second visit. I enjoy this diner. Need to bring my woman. it's a breakfast/lunch place closing at 2pm. I would definitely drop in, if only for toast and coffee.
