Fat Jack's Tap House

This place has really good hamburgers! I have tried mostly all of them, and they are so delicious. I like how the charcoal taste is on the patty; I love it. Definitely one of the best burgers here in downtown. It’s always good to have variety to pick from, and the place is good to come to with family or friends.

I'm on the fence with this place. The burger i ordered was really good but I'm not sure it was $17 good. FYI, it is a stand-alone burger. No side included. I ordered the poutine fries for a appetizer, I wouldn't recommend. The gravy was lacking in quantity and quality. The fixings are from their burgers and the cheese curds are from thier appetizer. The "my Mexico" burger was very tasty, huge, a little zesty and messy. I would recommend ordering it. The price tag make it a bit hard to come back. Maybe once a year. I was going to give the service 2 stars due to waiting for 15 minutes just for an employee to acknowledge my existence. But my server was notably good once I got a table.

Idk why there’s bad reviews on food. The burgers were awesome. I recommend the bbq burger. Beer on tap was awesome, tried a new one, Uinta golden spike heffe is better than blue moon surprisingly, kinda a good middle ground to coors light. Server was fun and easy going, super chill. We will be back to this place next time we’re in town.

I travel to downtown Salt Lake City pretty regularly, staying at a number of hotels in the area. Even when it's less convenient and I'm several blocks away, I find myself walking or driving back to this great little pub for a quiet meal. Great bar? Check. Really interesting selection of local beers? Check. And they're made to order, hand breaded chicken tenders come with several sauce options that are all made in house and better than anything you'll find in a chain restaurant.
