1718 Steak House

When we visited San Antonio we went here for a nice dinner and let me tell you everything was spectacular. From the service, to the drinks, to the food, and the view. Seeing the Alamo at night while eating was phenomenal. We started with a couple cocktails and they were made to perfection. We then got their charcuterie board (which I am a charcuterie board expert :) ) and it was on point! The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were phenomenal. In only wish I had enough room for dessert because the table next to us dessert looking like the greatest thing you would ever eat. If you ever get to go and splurge I would 100% recommend.

Last night was the greatest experience at 1718 Steakhouse I had the 12 oz rib eye and my wife had the salmon ,everything was cooked perfectly.. my sides came out great and creamy(Chipotle Mash,cream spinach ).even at the end our chef came out to check our tables and suggested us to try their famous flaming cheese cake now my wife wants to go back .

Amazing view of the Alamo! Was here for a private wedding dinner for over 60 people and everything course was timed perfectly. The entire staff was the best San Antonio had to offer! The bar staff knew every drink that was asked to make from people from all over the country. The wait staff was the most attentive without being overbearing. No glass of wine or drink was ever empty and they knew what everyone was drinking without having to ask repeatedly. The courses were timed to perfection, every course was served in a timely manner and you never felt rushed to finish. Every dish was presented to perfection and the meals were all customed to every guest and none returned. From this meal forward when people say "Remember the Alamo" this Mom and Pop as the staff puts it will always come to mind. Thank You 1718 for making this family occasion a wonderful memory!
