Rusty Bucket Jaw Smacking Bbq

Literally just left moments ago. We're in San Antonio for my sons graduation from basic training. We were told to eat some Texas bbq while we were here. (We live in California)...The outside of the restaurant was a little off putting, due to the appearance and it looked a bit run down. But once inside we found a cozy and rustic little dining room. Food was served very quickly and was fairly priced. Let me just explain that this has to be some of the best bbq we've ever had. Brisket so tender you can cut it with the plastic fork provided. Ribs, were fantastic, side dishes were all fantastic. The Mac n Cheese, the smashed baked potato, broccoli and rice.. plus 3 different bbq sauces.. were only in town a few more days, and we're considering going again.. so Jaw smacking good

THIS IS A BBQ JOINT! BRO! We literally do not have anything close to this in Atlanta and I am sad 😞. Great Brisket, chicken, ribs and pulled pork. The creamed corn and mac...geez. We ordered more on the way out for later. Come get it while it's 🔥! Update: We ate it cold at the hotel later. Either we were hungry or it just tasted better. So good! Made with love!

This is my first time here was on google maps looking for a bbq place this popped up was like I wanna try it. this place is WOW packed with Smokey delicious authentic bbq flavor it deserves to be in a better side of town. Friendly and fast staff great indoor and outdoor seating If you haven’t tried this place yet and you like TEXAS bbq I would 100% recommend it.

Despite being packed, food came out quickly. I ordered the smacked down potato. Baked potato with chopped and the works. I'm well built and over 6 feet tall and that potato filled me up to the brim with hardly any space to try their delicious peach pie. Definitely going back with a bigger appetite. Can't go wrong here. Lots of love going into the food. Perfectly seasoned and flavorful with every bite
