Large portions, friendly staff, food was standard fare, but not exciting. I enjoyed the blackberry pancake but it would have been nice if there weren't such large plain sections with no blackberries. The homemade berry jam was delicious.

Had breakfast there yesterday with my son. Great service, great prices, and great food. No complaints. They make you feel very welcome. Will be back again and again!

Great service and great food. Lots of selection with healthy options. I got the scrambled egg #6, which gets you toast with homemade jelly, potatoes, fruits, and scrambled eggs with sun dried tomatoes, spinach, and goat cheese. It was amazing.

I really enjoyed this plate and the eggs Benedict. During my second visit I tried the French toast and it was okay. Great service !

This wonderful place has been my wife's and my go-to spot for breakfast or lunch on the weekends for years. Their raspberry chocolate pancake and the Mac and cheese both hold special places in our hearts. Lately, though, I've come to favor the scrambles--even for a behemoth like me, I usually end up taking the potatoes home to reheat for a snack later. And their coffee is the best we've tried in the city.
If you're reading this review you're at least considering giving them a shot. Please, please do! It changed our lives for the better, and I'd love to share that experience with you!

Quick, friendly service + huge portions + a dash of healthiness with fruit on the side = winning at brunch. I was visiting SD and craving a good brunch, a visit here did the job!

Really great breakfast and brunch! 😊 I’ve been coming here for years. They’ve expanded and there is much more seating. Cool neighborhood and really close to the zoo and Balboa Park. Definitely a great spot to stop in and fuel up for a long day!
They use good quality ingredients and the portions are ample. The waiter was really a nice guy and gave us time to decide what to eat without being pushy because we were so indecisive that day. Trying to order healthy when all I wanted was bacon and French toast! LOL!! 😂
Finally decided on food. It was delicious!! Really happy we came. ❤️
