Round Table Pizza

Round Table has been my go to pizza place for years and we recently moved and ordered take out at a new location on Friars Rd. It was far superior to the Round Table near my old house. I will definitely be making this my new go to place for pizza! The pizzas were fresh and delicious and the toppings were plentiful.

I ordered delivery today and was not disappointed. I chose a custom pizza as I am particular about my toppings and sauces, with spinach, black olives, and jalapeños. I'm not really a fan of tomato sauce so I love that they offer a white/garlic sauce as an option. They honored the level of sauce as well - light - as I enjoy only a small amount of sauce on my pizza. The toppings were perfect and evenly distributed and the pizza was baked perfectly, the crust was thin and crispy but not overcooked. The ratio of cheese to toppings was also perfect, and it wasn't greasy or oily at all. The delivery came via DoorDash, and I will note I tend to avoid third party food delivery apps so I was disappointed I didn't get the store's driver. Regardless, the pizza arrived a bit earlier than estimated, and was in great condition. I was really happy with my order and love to support family businesses.

A couple friends and I have gone here at the end of each month to celebrate our kids doing another great month of swim lessons. We all look forward to it. There is space for our 3 families to sit, some games for the kids to play, and we always comment on how much we like the pizza, especially the pepperoni. Nothing is better than the small crispy pepperonis :) Thanks for dealing with the chaos of 6 adults and 6 kids under 6. It also works great that we can order the food online and note the time we want it ready. Then it's ready for us when we arrive and we can eat right away.

Round Table has great lunchtime specials during the week. For $9.99 you can get a personal pizza with up to four toppings and drink or salad, breadsticks and a drink. For an extra $2 you can get pizza, salad and drink. The salad choices are either their garden salad or a Caesar. The personal pizzas are made to order and brought out to you by their kind service employees. This location has limited indoor and outdoor seating and has typically always had seats available when we've come here for lunch. They have tv's with sports on inside and today they had the Padres on. They serve Pepsi products and you serve yourself the drinks. Unfortunately I ate the pizza before remembering I had wanted to take a pic but it was good!

I've picked up a large pepperoni, sausage and ham pizza, heavy on the red sauce, twice from this Round Table and it was great both times! For years I went to another RT, but for the last several months they stopped making the pizza like my wife & I like it. The Round Table on Friars Road makes exactly what you order and does so on time. Awesome product and service!

This place has awesome pizza and friendly staff. Pizza was filled with toppings, no skimping here. Even the mushrooms were good, seasoned even, and I don’t like mushrooms normally. Cheese was great tasting and dough was perfect. Crispy edges. We had the garlic specialty pizza with red sauce and a personal extra cheese.

My fiancé introduced me into this spot and they have amazing pizza and really cool staff . The Manager or Owner Teresa knew exactly how we wanted our pizza we said we like Veggie pizza and I was not disappointed when my pizza came out hot and ready . I highly recommend this place best pizza I have had In San Diego thus far !
