Wonderful Sushi

update September 2023: still excellent! Everything below applies and they have new menu items. They offer hamachi Kama, and it is fantastic! Excellent sushi at a good price. Dogs welcome on the outside patio. Owner (John) and staff are all friendly and prompt with service. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but try their special rolls for surprisingly tasty options. They've added a couple new specialty rolls that are all great...give them a try!

Very laid back neighborhood sushi place. Pricing is very reasonable. We had bentos for lunch (sesame chicken and grilled mackerel). The panko breaded sesame chicken bites were utterly free off grease, crunchy and delicious. The mackerel was perfectly grilled and tasted very fresh. The only note I'd offer the restaurant: while the miso soup was excellent, the bowls are looking a little worn. It might be time to replace them?

I have eaten sushi in 7 states and 16 different cities, and this one of the best tasting sushi. Very generous with the fish. Unlike some places is mostly rice and cheap ingredients. If you ask mi kids where they want to go out to eat, without hesitation Wonderful Sushi!! We have had sushi in many fancy places, but this one is home for us. Yes there are places more nice and fancy, but the taste here is amazing.

We've gone to this sushi restaurant quite a bit. It's are go to restaurant especially for sushi. We like sitting at the counter watching the food being made it's neato. The food is excellent! This is the best suchi restaurant that we've been to and we've gone to well over a dozen. The staff is engaging and checks on you enough you know. They're not overbearing but enough throughout our visit to make sure we're doing alright. I would highly recommend checking this spot out for a great dining experience. Oh they also have a big ole TV behind where they make the sushi.

Local resident 24 years been going here since 2003. Fishy taste to my orders lately, I get the economy and supply is an issue but this is an exceptional neighborhood and this was the last decent sushi without going to RB. Sushiya had to change their name because they have been garbage since 2010. They are now sushi hana, by stater bros. There are plenty of fresh local fish, no reason to sell me chinese caught and handled garbage. I'm about to order, if its not fishy I'll come back and change my review to 4 stars if it is a 2 star still it's because it was fishy, and ill never return. Fish should never smell or taste "fishy". Charge me more and bring the right product to me, don't sell me seconds. Take that level of quality to other neighborhoods not PQ

I’m giving it 5 stars because there’s not much to complain about this place. Service is usually fast if you dine in, lunch specials are available, and the prices are reasonable and affordable! The sushi is always fresh, although I did run into a batch of black avocados on top of my roll once, but I don’t care. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and never too crowded, so if you need a secluded spot to have a conversation, this is it. Parking is plenty since this is part of a large plaza.
