Hakkasan San Francisco

Food was delicious and service was great, but definitely over-priced. Maybe spend less on fancy napkins in the bathroom and all the employees walking around constantly refilling water to help lower the cost? Happy we went, buy going to be hard to justify spending that much on a dinner again for a long time!

Awesome food, good ambience and bit overpriced. They have good vegetarian options. The Dim Sum platter and vegetarian chicken were different and tasted so great. The vegetarian hot and sour soup was ok. Their Hong Kong Dusk drink was awesome. They didn't have good options in dessert. The chocolate dumplings was ok but it was different though. Overall its a great onetime experience for vegetarians.

Service was pretty good up until the end when it took 20 minutes to bring out some chocolate crumbles and raspberry ice cream and call it "deconstructed." The dim sum was all very good, though rather pricey. The bartender was great and tended to us right away. However, everything (as to be expected TBH) was on the high end price wise with rather small portion sizes. And then they got all fancy with the dessert with everything being "deconstructed." I know it's a fancy restaurant in FiDi in San Francisco but does everything have to SO hip? Save your pennies if you plan on eating here--you'll need them

You can get good food in a lot of places but its rare to find exceptional. The food was outstanding at Hakkasan! Flavor explosion with every bite. Flew to San Francisco for my son's 18th birthday. He/We loved everything we ate, Haaka Noodles, fried dumplings, steamed dumplings..melted in your mouth, spicy tiger prawns, honey glazed Sea Bass, Champagne Cod, Lobster to name a few dishes. Small plates were perfect for sharing. Ambiance was very nice. Wasn't loud, could carry a conversation without yelling. Definitely Michelin Star Rating!

An upscale asian fusion restaurant. The atmosphere is very good there. Reservation is required here. They have both bar and table service there. The food is so so so nice. This is definitely a good fusion. The food here are also delicate. The only problem is a little bit pricy and the portion is small. However, given such good location, good service and good atmosphere. I think it is worth going.
