Delicious sandwiches to-go that are super reasonably priced for SF. About $9 for a quality sandwich 4 blocks from the ocean. Hard to beat! Great vibes here. I got the Lil Puffer on a Dutch Crunch, would recommend!

I love George's Zoo Deli! I really love the tuna sandwich on whole grain, wine selection, awesome product selection , healthy dog treats, very friendly staff, and the fun atmospere. My new "go to deli"!

Great sandwiches, friendly staff. They have my favorite hot sauce (El Yucateco) in a ton of different flavors and I love their variety of craft sodas. Just a solid corner store and a good place to stop before going to the beach or zoo.

George's Zoo is a great place to stop for a sandwich or a drink on Sloat. The owners/staff are friendly. I love how you can get a breakfast beer before a bike ride in the morning. They have other carbohydrates like coffee, piroshkis and sandwiches. Good times!

Unfortunately, I did not get a sandwich here but they look amazing and the menu is just as amazing as a sandwiches look. I did get a latte here as I had been walking at the zoo across the street for about 4 hours and needed to pick me up. This place is fun, the staff are super nice and inviting, and there is a lot of wonderful snacks here as well. They have huge cookies up at the front if you need a sugar rush as well as an amazing menu of yummy sandwiches, which I plan to try next time!

This place is a neighborhood staple in the Sunset. It’s the type of place where they know all the regulars and welcome all the newbies. The staff is super friendly! The place has solid sandwiches, a good chip selection, a variety of drink options and some good ole’ piroshkis. Can’t go wrong!!
