The food was great and they were open late. What more do you need? This is definitely one of those old-school taquerias from my youth.

I have been going here for 30 years. The entire family is super sweet, respectful, and hard workers. I have yet to find Mexican food as good as theirs. I will drive an hour if I have to.

You can never go wrong with they shrimp quesadillas. Imo its the best in the bay ain't nobody messing with them. I took the Bart from the east right before closing and they still took care of me. El farolito got my respect

Dude, if you've lived in sf then you know about this chain. It has the best food. Take my advice and get the super shrimp burrito with extra carnitas. You'll thank me, unless your allergic or something. Thanks for coming to my PSA.

If you want some real good Mexican food, you got to try this place out. The food is delicious here and the service is great too. Not to mention their prices are very affordable.

Not on the menu, my dorado style super steak burrito $9.50 was delicious. I also got a side of chips for $0.75. Officially, a dorado style (seared) burrito is not on the menu. I asked the cashier to make me one. So, if you are going to order one, you need to do it in-person and it depends on your Spanish or the cashier. The chef did a great job with mine. It was seared, not too crispy or oily and had a great color. It was something that put a smile on my face.
They are busy again by the way. During the height of the pandemic, I was the only customer in there doing to-go. I'm happy they are doing well again.

Went to visit my family and brought a coworker there. He loves it! I missed it. Super burrito and super taco was delicious.

The meat inside taco and burrito is decent. The meat is a bit in the drier side comparing to other taco places I've been to. The avocado sauce was good. Price is reasonable for the side. It's self service. The staffs were friendly and very nice. The place is spacious with plenty of seats. Good thing they open really late.

Still good food but again it's skimpier than I remember. Staff is great - friendly and efficient. Atmosphere... it's a hidden gem for locals
