Best Cafe around! Their pastries are some of the tastiest I've ever had and I often get their breakfast sandwich which is SO good. Plus the people who work here are incredibly friendly.

The pastries here are really good, but the cinnamon rolls in particular are the best I've ever had. They're not bready/doughy like most other places, they're rich and buttery (soft on the inside, slightly crispy on the outside), with an intense cinnamon glaze, and a touch of lemon which brightens up the cinnamon flavors without being citrusy. Eating one is always an "experience" for me.

Sandwich + salad at lunch was delicious and a lot of food. Got the Moroccan Lamb sando and the Vegan salad and loved both. Spicy, fresh sandwich with a hearty, roasted veggies and nuts salad.

Absolutely delicious. The sign out front says, "Best Breakfast Sandwich In San Francisco," and they make a compelling argument. Herbed baguette, a Cuban veggie spread called 'sofrito,' over easy egg so the yolk spreads velvetiness over the other ingredients, cheese, bacon, and a spicy cabbage-and-jalapeno slaw to top it all off. And that's just the first thing on the menu. Enjoy!

I'll keep this simple and say that their food was the best I've ever tasted. It's obvious that the chef/baker pours love into her recipes. The Banana Bread is top shelf. Go!

Really sweet little coffee shop in the neighborhood. Very reasonable prices and chill vibe, good fit near Design District. We were headed to Pete's across the street and saw this and glad we did - supported local and had a really pleasant experience. We'll be back

I took a 6 month gig around the corner from L'acajou and I went here almost every day! Everything on the menu is delicious, but I highly recommend the cheddar chipotle breakfast sandwich and the quinoa bowl. They also do a lunch combo deal where you can get a half sandwich with either a bowl of soup of a salad for only $11. Staff was very friendly as well. I will miss coming here every day! <3

They serve açai bowls, which is nice, but they are very small so make sure you order something else to supplement the bowl or be prepared to stand in line to order something again.
Also be prepared that there is very little seating inside and only one table outside that I saw.
