I love how they start the meal off with naturally flavored fruit/cucumber water. It is very refreshing! I have had several of their iced teas and all of them are very good.

Came here for dinner after work. They took over the Old Manor Cafe that change to American restaurant that is now Vietnamese. My husband had the coconut curry noodle soup, I had the seafood noodle with white pepper, it was during happy hour so we had salt and pepper chicken wing and the shrimp. It would've been nice if our water glass was refilled.😶

Amazing hidden jem. The pho and frozen peok buns were devine. Cannot wait to go back and try the $3 bun mi!!

I ordered the beef pho with only the rare beef. unlike other pho, this one has distinct beef smell. the noodles were wider than most pho. the meatballs don't have that chewy white part, which I like. The pho tasted to be tailored to a western pallet, which I didn't like. The spring rolls ( I ordered veggie) unlike most places, was lacking in tofu. The sauce that came with it was completely different and creamier than what I have had in the past. It seed to just be a lump of peanut butter. Very dry. the place and service were nice overall. But the pho missed the mark for me.

My meal tasted fresh & amazing! Great Vietnamese beer too! The waitress was wonderful. I was sad to see it closed after only being open as a restaurant for 1 month. 10/10/20: it's now called something else. The vietnamese ban Mi was not very vietnamese tasting, but I ate it. Varied menu, including american hamburgers. They had frozens for customers to take home to make themselves too, like a store. I hope they don't close.

Underrated place, given its great food, at an excellent value and served quickly. Three of us have both dined in and had takeout and both times, everything was really enjoyable. It's a nice complement to the restaurants on West Portal Ave. We'll definitely be back, especially now that alcohol is served there.

This place is the old "The Manor" spot and was turned into a Vietnamese Cuisine restaurant. If you like Pho the food is delicious. What surprised me is there is already regulars that the server's know their orders. There's plenty of Dim Sum and Specialty rolls on the menu. I would recommend the "House Special #7" and the Garlic Noodles. The smell of the Garlic Noodles are so inviting. There's beer and wine and music playing. Inexpensive ban mi sandwiches are great as well.

Great local place on West Portal! My wife and I are vegetarian and we feel we have a lot of choices. Can be busy, but the food is worth the wait, West Portal is just busy like that. Were willing to make food less spicy for me. Definitely worth your time.
