After hearing from our neighbor about how good the foods are from this place, we finally decided to try them out today for take out order. Being first time ordering here, I was a bit timid on what to order. We looked at their online menu and found that they do offer very comprehensive Vietnamese foods. Being a foodie for Vietnamese foods, I wanted to order quite a few things. But my wife told me to focus on one dish only to avoid over eating at lunch. I ordered their broken rice with BBQ pork and shrimp skin. The taste of this dish is very authentic and yummy. The only complaint I have is that the pork was not well BBQ. I like my pork to be a bit burned to have that authenticity. My wife got a Bun with chicken and shrimp skin. The chicken was well BBQed. I tried a bit and felt this dish is fabulous and was right on the spot with the flavor. We also ordered extra egg rolls. This restaurant is one the only few restaurants in San Gabriel Valley doing egg rolls with rice paper. Believe me, egg rolls with rice papers do taste different. They are extra crunchy and chewy. That’s how they do egg rolls back in Vietnam. We also got an ice coffee with milk and an cold red bean drink. These two drinks are very popular in Vietnam. When we were in Vietnam before the pandemic, we got an ice coffee every morning from the shop across our hotel. Will be back to try out more of their dishes.

Cash only and it's a no frills type of restaurant - especially when we're craving good viet food. There isn't a parking lot, so we had to find street parking. Service is whatever since this place is managed by a lot of older people, but the food is great! I highly recommend the grilled beef and shrimp egg rolls with a side of fried eggs. The beef was super lean and well seasoned. It comes with a savory soup as well. We ordered the bahn beo to share, which I think everyone should skip because it lacked flavor/crunch compared to other places. It wasn't even packed on a Saturday compared to the Westminster location.

Food poisoning. This place is grimy and they were previously shut down by the health dept for violating safety codes. Do not eat here if you value your health. My family all had food poisoning after eating here and we're still sick as of now. The owner was extremely rude and dismissive--they are WILLFULLY endangering others.
