Smoking Pig Bbq

Solid BBQ spot to dine at with your bros. I got the brisket and ribs combo with mac n cheese. The meat was great. Brisket was a little salty and the mac n cheese had a great taste to it. Don’t skimp on the corn bread and make sure to get an 805 or quality beer on tap like I did. Parking is easy vis a free lot out front.

Absolutely the best barbecue ever!! Worth a trip to California. Always my first stop when arriving in Jan Jose, and my last when departing. The food is delicious, fresh, hot, and so worth every penny. The restaurant is spotless, always a welcoming atmosphere. Although I've only enclosed two pictures, there is not a single thing on the menu below 5 stars.

Decent barbecue. I ordered the beef brisket and the pork ribs with the fries and the cornbread. I found myself enjoying the skin-on fries the best. Also good cornbread very fluffy. The brisket was a little bit lean maybe I should order the fatty one. The ribs were not consistent with one very juicy and tasty and the other dry and hard to bite.

The BBQ is great and affordable. We ordered 2 set meals of 2 meats, each set comes with 2 sides and rice/corn bread. The rib tips were da bomb 💣, everything was seasoned well. The staff was so nice and gave us an extra portion of chilli cheese fries because they happened to make extra. You ordered at the counter. Really like the atmosphere of the place, will definitely come back when we’re in San Jose again.

Being from Kansas City, I rarely order BBQ when we're out of town. I know how good we have it, and frankly, we're spoiled. Let me tell you Smoking Pig BBQ Fremont has some absolutely 100% legit BBQ. That smoker out back isn't just for show! We tried the Brisket Sammy (my usual test) and the Pig Dog (peppers, onions, and fried onions). The beans were so good, somewhere between BBQ and charro, and the fries just might rival Joe's KC. They have homemade sauces, local baked rolls, and the nicest staff. Try it if you're in town, and thank me later. ❤️
